No the elite community still has a burning hatred its just that me and alot of people are holding back the flame

It never goes well with fans when their past games include certain features, and then they decide to take them out for the next. I imagine it wasn’t an easy decision to make either. I could see, from their point of view, why they might make such a decision. Just as speculation, it might have had something to do with the fact that few users ever used elites in past games and they considered it a waste of development time, or it just didn’t fit well with the concept of the UNSC Infinity, and they decided to scrap it.
You won’t make them look bad with a few rage posts here and there, just don’t do it on a consistent basis. Everyone is entitled to the occasional rage.

Given the circumstances of the Halo Universe (Novels, comics, etc.) its without a doubt a hard choice to make. Right now the books have it pretty squarely lit up: the covenant is no longer united. the leaders are gone and many species have issues with the arbiter running the show. Not only that, but certain factions loyal to the prophets are still roaming around… in all honesty, it just doesn’t make sense to include them and a bigger insult if they were suddenly in the game with no real purpose to be there. Either way… I’m sure this is not the last of our split jaw friends…
