This is just ridiculous.
This isn’t going to teach my console not to disconnect.
I’m not going to feel penalized I’m going to stop playing all together.
What am I supposed to do for an hour?go play ps4.
You mean to tell me you had seven disconnects today and you didn’t bother checking your connection?
Or understand that if it’s not your connection, take a break as the game most likely will disconnect again.
Infact, why does it look like you disconnect roughly half your matches? Your game history pages are filled with DNFs.
Would you want players who disconnect that much in your matches?
If you are banned for an hour, how about you take that time and call up your ISP to try and troubleshoot why you are getting disconnected all the time? In ALL, and I mean ALL of my games on Halo5, since the day of release, I have only been disconnected from one game. I run a wired connection which does not drop out or have any lag issues at all, and I don’t have any issues with the servers either.
If there are problems with your connection, get them fixed. It is totally and completely on your end, and I applaud 343i for giving you a ban as a way of them telling you to “figure out your sh**” before you log on and play again. Your teammates don’t want to be left in an outnumbered situation, just like you probably wouldn’t want to either.

You have 6 DNFs out of 18 matches in war zone in 1 day. At least war zone is unranked and players can join in progress so you aren’t undoing someone’s hard work to rank up and a replacement may come along but 33% of the time is a more of an epidemic than an isolated incident. You should get your isp on the phone and get your connectivity checked if for no other reason than to not keep getting kicked out of matches you are waiting to play.
I have been disconnected twice in roughly two months of playing. Both times pissed me off thoroughly. Granted one time was human error (long story) but both times I lost out on a game that I am paying for Xbox live to play. Just me dealing with the diminished return on my investment would push me to find a fix to the problem. For example, I turned the wireless connection on my cellphone off to reduce the strain on my wifi.
Now, if you were playing a ranked team arena and had DNFs 33% of the time I would want you banned for a day.
Dude just go play PS4. I would if i had that system.
