The update thread was not very descriptive with what was added and changed. Also Random Halo Reach intro + level one in the flight now? Anyone got more details on what was added or changed, And why Reach was added?

Reach was added to test out crossplay Firefight and Multiplayer to test out in the Insider version of Xbox and PC as far as I know. PC Gamer.com made an article about it. They are in the phase of getting crossplay up and running. Hopefully we get more people to flight the crossplay. But we more than likely won’t since most people on PC are Halo 3 fanatics and won’t care for Reach. Hopefully people change their minds.
Giving Halo Reach a go now and it feels a lot smoother

Yes but this is to Test Crossplay with another Game outside of Halo 4 since limiting it to one Game for Crossplay in the Flight might not be a good indicator of how Crossplay would be if implemented into the MCC proper, that and they could test other Modes that were not in Halo 4 like Firefight by adding in Reach.
Some folks are also not the biggest Halo 4 Fans so adding in another Halo for this particular Flight could potentially draw more people in.

Yeah, reach was added.
they also wanted to test out the new uncapped framerate fix and i have to say its way better, i tried both versions and this version has no trailing/ghosting. before halo reach’s camera would update based on framerate but the game world would still update in 60fps, you can notice it if you go to a map with a tree or something and strafe around it, youll see ghosting at fps more than 60. now in this update it doesnt do that it.
