Halo 4 will NEVER be better than Reach. The TU fixed the bloom and armor lock problems for the most part.

Halo 4’s campaign was the most repetitive out of any Halo in history - clear out a room full of enemies - press 3 switches - and repeat for about 5 hours. Yep, 5 hours if you skip the cut-scenes.
Halo 4 gives you:
The Mantis
Join in progress
Random weapon spawns
Random ordinance
Promethian weapons that are just clones of already existing weapons
The ability to throw the bomb
Im not here to argue any point as everything you said is true.
Halo4 misses lots.
But the only thing that actually makes it bad are the lagging games from the lack of filter.
Do you realize that two weeks+ after Halo: Reach’s launch, it didn’t have everything you listed? Things like that takes time. They are gradually adding things to Halo 4 just like Bungie/343i did with Reach.

nothing to see here folks, most of the stuff he listed were not available at lauch for reach either. armor lock and bloom make reach worse than halo 4 by default. /thread.
Then go play reach, Debbie. I’m sure you’ll find a lot of like minded individuals on there. While you’re at it take the rest of the H4 haters with you and go start your own club and website because I’m sick of seeing this crap on these forums. Unless you have something to say that can behove people who play the game or the game itself then cry about it to people who don’t mind the whining.

EDIT: Actually from looking at his service record, it would appear he hasn’t even played a single campaign mission. So saying that the campaign is the most repetitive in the series doesn’t hold much truth to it. Plus, Halo Combat Evolved would like to have a word with you.

From the looks of it, you want Halo 3 with updated graphics. Sorry, but you should really learn to approach things with an open mind or you’ll never be satisfied. 343i made some changes (much the same as Bungie did over the years). They probably took out the plethora of objective game types for the sake of simplicity. Either way, there’s a lot of room for added content.

just for -Yoink- and giggles, i highlighted all the stuff thats either on the way, were never played, scrapped due to being replaced, scrapped cause no used them or stuff that was just retarted on a competitive level. the few points you actually did make are lost in a sea of stupid points.
I miss the variety of covenant we had in reach, halo 4’s enemies are mostly prometheans which only have 3 types, and the variations of each type are barely significant.
New ranking system sucks, no visible ranks or titles, just a number.
The lobbies are really dull and boring, you can’t view detailed commendations of your friends in game.
3D player view in lobby is gone.
Plasma launcher gone
spiker gone
Less customization for armor
A majority of Armor unlocks don’t look that great( in my opinion ) , and the variants just have a different color pattern on them, unlike reach which actually built on it.
