Always happens. It’ll keep happening too. I hope someday, for their own sake, they learn to stop.
In almost every match there’s at least one player with a premium skin of their favorite team. There’s plenty of players that care enough to drop a few bucks to have a kit for one of the teams.

I found myself tempted to use Reward points to get one, but that was due to the colors of the skin, and the lack of customization for the core it’s linked too. A poll on the reasoning why people bought the skins would be interesting. I’d be curious if it was out of an appreciation for a certain team, or just because the colors are good.

Why would people want drops for a game they barely play?..
It was at 73K a little bit ago. Infinite’s population is nice and healthy, and more content is only going to make it grow
The game isn’t dead, but then again no one can actually call this a game when we are (literally still in beta mode.)
Basically 343 played the player base big time and most don’t even care that they got played 
I’d like to know what this actually means. I’m sure this is just some random accusation extrapolated from missing forge and missing co-op.

Tough to say if 50,000 is considered good… What is the average for games? I watch stuff on twitch from time to time and I see individuals who have more than that watching them play a game so to me 50,000 isn’t all that much… But if some say it’s good I will have to take their word for it. But yeah I don’t believe Halo is dead either, not even MCC.
Good question, they don’t have a dime from me. So, as far as I’m concerned “jokes on them.” I’ll happily give them some cash when co-op comes or prices drop.

I got no interest in esports in general tbh. I just muted it and let it play in the bg while i did other stuff.
More like there’s lack of customization, and people just wanted to look “decent”

For real though, I wanted the pre-order nameplate which was why I pre-ordered off amazon. During the flights and Beta I used steam, but once I pre-ordered I swapped to the windows store/ xbox app version. So I might be a minority but even on PC Steam is just a fraction. Many of us are like me, had to get the play anywhere digital version, or playing through PC gamepass. The population is fine.

Game just sucks and the developer doesn’t care about any of us. Esports in this game is popular, but many of them already admitted this game is garbage and offers a subpar experience, they just have to play it since it’s the newest. Quake Pro League still generates up to 20k viewers in total for QuakeCon… so honestly this isn’t that impressive, especially for the money spent, reputation, and veterancy this lazy disgraceful developer has.
