I’ve only been talking about the stream and E-sports. I haven’t once commented on the health of the player base. Without the analytics from all platforms e.g Xbone, Windows store, and Steam nobody can definitively say for certain as to whether it’s healthy, or dying.
We have a viewercount of 50k, which is uh. Categorically not even close to death.
So if that’s even half it’s doing great. If that’s all of us, that’s still doing good.
Those are really good numbers for halo considering most people were working and the tourney just started so these early games arent as exciting
Gone are the days of MCC tourneys not breaking 1,000 viewers
It’s my day off today.
It’s not even my day off and I’m still watching ha.
Sitting with all my dogs and watching some Halo while the rest of my family sleeps is a real nice and calming evening. Used to watch all the MLG tournaments late into the night when I was a teenager. I love it.
Definitely will be doing this every couple of months when the tournaments are on. Hope Optic win a major at some point.
And these are usually the vast majority of players. AKA casuals.
Basically. So Infinite’s population is honestly doing great.
Any amount of numbers for HCS in halo 5 was shunned upon so I won’t take these numbers seriously when people couldn’t back then and is there comments? Because if there isn’t then who knows if the views are real
Yo, KCDODGER, just ignore him, flagged his posts
Yes. There are comments.
I will not watch after I unlock everything. Heck, I just have it on muted in the background. I have no interest in HCS.
Tuned in. Tell me. Do you find it enjoyable to watch?
No is watching this that doesn’t care about Halo. It doesn’t matter why they are there or not.
As someone trying to get into Onyx it’s pretty cool, but I’m mostly here for the drops. I’m impressed by various plays, but it’s very firmly on mute. Too busy sodding about as a busty argonian babe.
But I don’t watch streams anyway. However, I do like to play alongside and against higher tier players, talk to them about strats. I’m former competitive in a different game - Star Wars: Squadrons. My team, Firaxa, was in the upper echelon of skill, but we weren’t a top 10 team. Probably top 20, but we DID hit top 8 in the first ever tournament that was US Only.
Ever since then my respect for Esports and Ethletes rose considerably. Especially with how involved in a scene a player or team can get. I repped LGBT+ folks hard, proudly, and through much adversity. But I made my mark.
Anyway, no, I’m not watching the streams because I’m honestly a really busy woman who’s getting ready to do her daily workout and work on some commissioned art. But my free time IS usually spent playing, not viewing.
But that’s no shade on Esports, streams, and so on. Maybe I’ll get into comp Halo someday.
Raleigh was 260k… So the viewership has dropped by 70% or so (I am not great at maths, please give me exact numbers lol) DEAD GAME
In all seriousness though today is just a bunch of dare I say “boring” matches. Just pro teams vs AM teams for most of today’s broadcast, the current Fnatic/SSG game is best we’ve had so far and neither of those are top 4 arguably top 6 teams. It wouldn’t surprise me if tomorrow had better viewership numbers.
Sunday will tank because some genius at 343i thought it a good idea to have grand finals during Super Bowl ![]()
don’t tempt me with a good time ![]()
Not much more fun than playing a duelist/witcher playstyle with a sassing mead swilling lizard babe. It’s just such a good time.
You’re missing my point. I’m not saying nobody cares about Halo, but what I’m trying to say is nobody cares about E-sports.
If it weren’t for the drops I wouldn’t have it running in the background
