Just saw that as well.

Looks good. Still dissapointed about the Valhalla remake, but the Mantis looks great.

Can’t wait to see some footage where it gets some real ammo fired at it. I mean, rockets, splazers*, Gauss Hogs and Scorpion/Wraiths. I bet the thing will look a lot less overpowered then.

  • he says 1 Splazer shot didn’t kill it…might be me, but I remember times when my shots kind of didn’t hit full on and I’ve had Hogs and Scorpions survive a single shot. Doesn’t/didn’t happen THAT often in H3/Reach but I’ve definately seen it happening. So that might be what happened in that game as well.

It seems kind of balanced i mean it is the size of a house so cover will be hard to find plus what will Plasma pistols do to it considering everyone can spawn with one. I hope they dont nerf it before the public gets to test it out on a large scale.

Oh yeah, was curious about that as well. It looked like 2 shots. I thought it was one as well.

it looks like it has too much armor 1 shot of a spartan laser wasent enough…
it needs a nerf they should patch on release

Do you know if it’s left trigger to fire rockets or do you have to switch with Y and then use it, like the Banshee?

If you are talking about the 4 sniper shots he fired at the banshee then yeah, I only saw 2 of the 4 shots actually hit the thing.

I think he meant the Binary Rifle. Well idk anymore xD, but I thought the binary rifle is one shot. As for the sniper hitting the Banshee, I think he landed 2.
