Just an idea, but bare with me here. Think of 8v8 launch site 1 flag, or assault. Or vice versa on Behemoth with additional warthog spawns on either base. (Maybe a gungoose and warthog on Launch Site defence too.)
Heck, it could even be 6v6. Just a cool idea for a fun variant of objective/slayer play on our more classic Halo arena maps.

The central corridors of both maps would be a mosh pit akin to the basement of Snowbound and the gate of Highground. And I’m cool with that. Bring it on.

This is one of the unfortunate side effects of having a larger possible player pool. People will want BTB to host as many players as possible. Since the basic team based modes are built for 4v4 this leaves a broad range of map types to be under utilized.
Either 343 can make playlists and maps for mid-size matches (6v6-to-8v8) and split the user base and development resources or they can have two very different ecosystems between the 4v4 and 12v12 (Or whatever the number is for BTB.)
Personally, while I like the idea of being able to host a lot of people in custom games I would prefer BTB just stay 8v8 like previous entries. Too late now though. The current BTB maps would be far too small for 8v8 matches.
6 vs 6 maybe…
With better vehicle spawns on Launch Site for both sides as well as another launch pad, or disabling current one…

6v6 would be a good fit for these maps specifically. Just big enough to make the map feel populated, but small enough that it isn’t too chaotic.

i think 8v8 on Behemoth would be realy bad. That map is completely open with giant lines of sight on almost every spot on the map and spawns are out in the open. It would just result in being spawnkilled every time.
Behemoth is absolutely not good for more then 4v4 because of that.
Launch Site could be for 8v8 slayer (if you remove the vehicles).
At this point, I don’t see why not. It could be a lot of fun.
