That is the depopulation of Halo4 from the day of release. Hmmmmmm, most companies would terminate folks responsible for that.
I agree, the problem is they don’t care how many people play it, they just care how many people buy it.
Can you give a link for what you’re saying ?
I’ll be glad to have the comparisons in front of my eyes
So long as they can shop and play on Twitter everything is fine. The community just has to wait till we release the next TU. But don’t worry Bravo will make it better. Now everyone pose for the “we’re hard at work shot” and look like a-holes watching some glorified skater save us all.
> I agree, the problem is they don’t care how many people play it, they just care how many people buy it.
Indeed most of the changes 343i made werent really focused on building or strenghtening the community but rather they were focused on just as many people to buy the game first day.
Which sort of strikes me as " -Yoink!- in the wind" to be honest becuase the people they are trying to apeal to were going to buy the game anyway and were gonna immeadiately jump ship to COD so why waste your time.
There is no proof for this at all… Theres 150,000 people on right now… not to mention halo 4 had the most people playing live at one time than any other halo game. A link would be nice…

Seriously you could ski down that drop like an olympic event.
Mistake ignore
Give me reach and Halo 3.
You are giving me unqualified statistics that mean absolutely nothing. If you have nothing to compare it to. You could say that HIV is absolutely amazing, and give me a bunch of unqualified statistics. Or you could give me the satisfaction ratings for norwich, something better than HIV and norwich will have better results.
I other words, you’re witholding truths to shock people into believing that the world is goig to end. Now please, learn to statistics and common sense, and then leave the keyboard and read a book or something.

TC,
Please see other threads about this subject and comment there.
The way you are using Peek Statistics is misleading.
This debate over these statistics occurs often. Please see the other threads for explanations and critique of the use of the statistics.

Excuse me for saying misleading. What I meant is that your analysis for statistics is very poor. These are peak statistics and you are using an outlier, day 1, for analysis.
Please search for other threads and discuss there. This topic already exists.
When I click on it, it goes up already and is over 30k soooo guess you should click on today population
Peak population =/= Unique User population.
Lots of kids are still in school and so on. I will admit that the numbers have dropped off, but just about any game will be that way. Seriously. It is still #2 on major nelson’s chart, so why does it matter?

No, what I’m showing is a trend. You’re not obligated to like it. Failure to recognize it is nothing but denial.
The majority of players here have faced certain problems with Halo 4:
- Stuck at SR-70
- Other Games
- Waiting for the next TU (I am currently doing this)
- Waiting for Team Doubles to be added (which is soon!)
- Max Rank already.
I don’t know where people get this sense of entitlement regarding why others will play a game or why they even care, but here’s a lovely wakeup call:
A game gets developed.
The game sells for X amount of copies.
The people who buy the game relax, have a fun time, and do their thing.
After a spell, the game gets boring to them because they’ve seen the maps before and the customization present isn’t enough for them to care about the game.
Further down the spell, they see a brand new game which they see and go, “I haven’t played that one yet” so they go and play it.
Gamers, big and small, do not play a game for its competitive or otherwise merits. They play because its fun and they want to play it.
They won’t come on these or any forums to discuss it, they’ll talk with their friends in real life or do it over Facebook and Twitter.
So for those of you saying this game’s population is terrible, you should know that Halo 3, a game many of you identify as good, had a similar decrease to 82% (can’t remember exactly what it was) and then uplifted right before the next major game’s launch (Halo: Reach).
