If I’m playing btb or griffball, my entire team quits then the other team deserves no credits for spawn camping since they deserve no credits. Just had a griffball game where that’s all they did, was forced to quit to avoid them
> the other team deserves no credits for spawn camping since they deserve no credits.
Nice circular logic you have there. I counter with:
The other team deserves credits since they deserve credits!
Why should their team be punished just because you had bad teammates who left you?
If people could screw their opponents out of credits by quitting, it would only increase the rate at which people quit!

Why do they deserve credits for spawn camping? while people are forced to quit because they are forced to not be able to do anything. I might accept a bit of spawn camping sometimes but not the entire game, not when it’s the entire other team lag switching the my team out of the game, spawn killing me so I can’t do anything then explain to me why on earth they deserve any credits? it’s no better than having someone be afk.
So let me get this right, I’m playing with my team, we get a great start and all but one player quits, he stays in to the very end of the game either hiding or not playing, we deserve no credits?
I’m sorry to say but I have about as fun as the guy who isn’t playing does, running around the map looking for one player is not fun at all.
> Why do they deserve credits for spawn camping?
Why not? They aren’t cheating after all. Cheap =/= Cheating. Do I hate newbs who run around with the sword? Yep. Do I think those BKs still deserve credits for using cheap tactis? Sure do. It isn’t their fault you got stuck with a bad team, it isn’t their fault you refuse to quit, why should THEY be punished when they are NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG?
> while people are forced to quit because they are forced to not be able to do anything.
No you are NOT forced to quit. You CHOOSE to quit. I will gladly engage you in conversation but I ask that you defend your position honestly or don’t bother trying to defend it at all.
> I might accept a bit of spawn camping sometimes but not the entire game
And why not? If I’m on the team of 8v1, and you’re refusing to quit, we WILL spawn kill you in an attempt to not draw the damn game out. Why should we wait around for 10 minutes when we can spawn kill you and end it quicker? YOU would be the one unnecessarily dragging out a game which you have no hope of winning, YOU are the one being discourteous by staying, so why should we avoid spawn killing you?
> not when it’s the entire other team lag switching the my team out of the game
Can you provide evidence that it is deliberate system tampering? I doubt it. Does it happen? Sure, but you can’t give evidence either way. I agree that people who system tamper should not receive credits, but yes spawn camping is not against the rules so as long as they aren’t cheating they get credits.
> , spawn killing me so I can’t do anything then explain to me why on earth they deserve any credits?
Because the game awards credits when a kill is made. You get credits when you score a kill, they earn credits when they score a kill.
They do NOT get punished by the fact that YOU chose to go in with randoms who abandoned you. Why should they be punished? They aren’t at fault. The quitters are the ones who get punished, not the ones who stay!
So you had a bad game and had to come on here and rant about it?! Rhetorical question, lol. Stop playing with that scrub randy.
No. 8/4v1 games should just end instantly, so I’m not held hostage with my team against a guy hiding for 15 minutes.
> No. 8/4v1 games should just end instantly, so I’m not held hostage with my team against a guy hiding for 15 minutes.
LOL, playing hide and seek. You do find and kill him, he respawns with AC and just sits there invis, or goes into it instantly while creeping to a spot to hide.

I hated that when I play Slayer playlists. It is such a waste of time. Normally the players who stay in go about -30 each. Hardly worth it for them.
At least in Objective, when a player is hiding we can just play the objective quickly.
Mainly why I don’t play BTB as much anymore. Last week I was playing Reach TS, we had 9 people rage quit within a 4 game window. I was like, “i’m done with this until Halo 4”.

What makes you think Halo 4 is going to be any different?

Three words: Join-in-progress.
> Three words: Join-in-progress.
Interesting. So, in Halo 4 MM if someone quits the game searches for another player immediately and drops them in?
Look, it would be difficult for a program to be installed to stop that.
Second, it is not the other teams fault.
Third, it would only make more people quit.
Lastly, I understand your frustration

We don’t know the specifics of the system as of yet, but I would assume so!
Certainly they may not deserve credits, but I don’t see how they would fix this, it would probably make more problems than it solves.
> > Three words: Join-in-progress.

I don’t like this idea, there would probably be even more quitting, and you could easily join a game that is almost over and get credits for nothing, like in BF3, that happens a lot to me.

That’s why I still hold a little skepticism for the new JIP system. I certainly hope there is a punishment for those who quit, but I think the system will help alleviate some of the problems that arise when the numbers for teams become lopsided.

I’m saying soon as the game starts you get instant killed every second with no way to escape, no way to avoid them, all they do is kill you instead of doing the objective.
There is nothing fun about being instant killed constantly. It’s those players that stop you from spawning that don’t deserve credits. If they let me spawn, fight my way out then maybe they should have credits but not if there spawn camping.
> > Why do they deserve credits for spawn camping?

Actually they would be since it exploiting a game, ruining it for others.
