750 Req Boost for an Ultra Rare??

That is total garbage. Look, I get it, it’s random, but playing Halo shouldn’t be like playing a -Yoinking!- slot machine.
This isn’t the first time either.
For me, this is just an example of 343’s approach to the game - teasing.
Halo 5 is a -Yoinking!- tease. It’s a great game with solid mechanics but little content.
Anyways had to get that off my chest.
750 req points for an ultra rare boost… give me a break…

Totally agree with this post. I understand it is judged by ur performance in the game but the majority of xp or rp given by rare and above cards is shocking! !

Arena Boost are at a set amount. ultra Rare RP boosts always give 750 RP.
Rare always gives 500 Rp
uncommon always gives 250.
its not a slot machine at all.

The Warzone RP boosts are where it’s at, as they tend to give 1000+ RP.
With the legendary RP boost rewarding you with 7000+ RP at the end of a game.

Video games have incorporated slot machine type rewards since day dot.

The RP Boosts are set, I thought.

I had a boost on Warzone give me 14,500 xp. I think it was a jackpot boost, or something like that.

Jackpot boosts are random, but I do not believe they are tied to performance.

RP jackpot boost = “Finish an Arena game and claim a randomized RP reward” Operative word is randomized.

Well I used a Legendary REQ boost the other day and also only got 750. :frowning:

along the lines of warzone reqs being stupid… Cosmetic unlocks in the Reqs is a ridiculous scheme. Its isn’t cool to open up a new armor… Not when they all look fairly generic. It saddens me when I watch my boys prefer Black Ops 3 over halo because the progression system in CoD makes sense to them- if they want to level up a weapon they use that weapon.

I think the reqs for weapons and power ups is great… but hiding your progression behind rng is not a great system… unless you’re looking to make a ton of cash I guess.

I don’t think I would mind if req packs guaranteed unlocks of specific types- 1 cosmetic and 1 weapon? Or have a choice between cosmetic reqs and weapons reqs? All I know is that warzone is kinda fun, but It kills me to unlock another idiotic looking armor and a visor color rather than a load out weapon or some cool banshee.

You get more REQ points for playing 5-10 minutes of Warzone than a full arena game with a legendary REQ boost. We should get more points for playing Arena.

Straightforward “Finish a match and claim your RP/XP reward” boosts seem to give less than the Mission or Gambit boosts, which is fine by me.

Yes, but it should be subtle lol, I guess we should be thankful the UI for reqs isn’t a slot machine… although I would appreciate the irony

Ah, well that explains that then lol

Arena Boosts are best used in BTB

unless you have 50 of each and just like playing 4s
