70 bucks plus Microtransactions to experience what we've always had?

At what cost to us? See, 90% of this game is missing, and this be patient nonsense you just tried to use doesn’t work on anyone anymore. This is supposed to be a AAA gaming company, and we’ve been waiting for a decade for them to get their act together and make a complete game.

Not drip feed content so the can milk the player base using the shop.

I seriously can’t imagine what you’re mad about. It’s free. If you don’t like it, don’t play it.

I get that it’s bare bones right now. Again, the development cycle was a nightmare. But it literally costs you nothing to play. If you want to wait a year until more content comes out, you can. And you’ve lost out on nothing.

:joy:

The topical cop-out as if that is going to solve the games issues of being Barbone. But hey, the shop is fool of stuff that I can’t wait to see when they sell assassinations, instead of having it build in the game as it should have been :+1:

How am I copping out? Because I refuse to be a -Yoink!- about something I’m getting for free? Something that the devs are actively working on improving?

Also, what do assassinations have to do with anything? Is that why you’re so mad? Because there aren’t assassinations in this game?

“70 bucks + mtx to experience what we’ve always had?”

You haven’t always had Halo Infinite.

So I’ve gotta be straight with everyone here first, and Foremost. I’m extremely insulted as a longtime fan of this series.

No one actually cares. I’m a longtime fan that bought an xbox just to play combat evolved. I’m not insulted. But me not being insulted doesn’t invalidate any of your points. See how this doesn’t matter?

How is it that people are okay with buying this game for what ultimately amounts to seventy dollars to get an experience we’ve always had for less?

None of the assets or experiences you’re talking about have ever been owned or played by you. These were developed for Infinite.

There is nothing new enough brought to the table to justify a sixty dollar campaign(which isn’t even truly open world, and gets extremely linear half way through),

I mean, it’s not entirely open world. But the open world section is absolutely new to the series.

AND ten dollars to unlock the ability to customize your Spartan

I know some people that haven’t spent any money and they can customize their Spartan. Weird.

Your game is only free to play 343I, in the most shallow sense of the phrase

Everything gameplay related in the multiplayer mode is free. There is no difference in gameplay between a free player and a premium player.

YOU are charging your fans a premium for content that isn’t even new, much less finished.

The items themselves may have been in previous Halo games, yes. But just because they didn’t concept them out doesn’t mean they weren’t recreated from scratch and implemented in Infinite.

It’s another Anthem, another Cyberpunk 2077, another Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Now here’s a hot take for the ages. All three of these games were abysmally received by almost everyone. All it takes is a cursory glance at user reviews and critic reviews to see that your comparison here is real bad.

I would call for all fans of Halo to boycott this game, get gamepass, play it, but still your wallets from making any store purchases. Hit them where it hurts, and force them to fix this

I might just purchase the Mister Chief bundle after reading this.

I think comparing it to Andromeda or Anthem is a hell of a reach there but I agree that the game is incredibly shallow and the F2P model was just an excuse to shoehorn in predatory microtransactions because they were too generous with Halo 5.

And just like " nobody cares " , we don’t care to read to read your response. But hey man you do you and keep lapping up the minimal viable products these companies throw in your lap like a good little piggy. Miss. Me.

Literal pros think this game is trash. Wonder why they only talk good about it? Gee, it’s not because they WORK for HCS right?

Lmao you have to be joking! 70 dollars for a mediocre story, mediocre “open world” with nothing to do. Good god

You lost me here. Why would you think the pros think the game is trash if they only talk good about it?

i’ve put more time into cyberpunk than i’ve put into infinite

And just like " nobody cares " , we don’t care to read to read your response.

Sounds like the point went right over your head. Its okay, it happens.

But hey man you do you and keep lapping up the minimal viable products these companies throw in your lap like a good little piggy

I’m having a good time with Halo Infinite whereas a bunch of whiny folks just come to the forum complaining. I feel pretty good with my current position.

Literal pros think this game is trash.

Yeah I guess you really did miss the point of my “nobody cares” section.

Most of you defending this garbage are either absolutely out of your minds, EXTREME fanboys, or have never actually played a Halo Game before Halo 5 in your lives. I can’t even begin to cover the half-baked excuses for this half-baked game, much less the math you guys are trying to spit here. Must be some sort of standard common core you kids of this generation were taught.

Dude honestly now… have you EVER played a Halo Game before 5?

have you EVER played a Halo Game before 5?

I bought an Xbox just for combat evolved

Halo 5 actually launched with 20 maps.
