I was at rank 49 with about 4000 experience left and needed 1 more victory to complete the monthly challenge. After winning a match, I received about 3000 experience for winning. Then I got about 1000 experience from completing the monthly challenge to hit 50, but upon hitting 50 (and proceeding to 51 from selecting a specialization) I stopped receiving the rest of the awarded experience from the monthly (about 14000 exp). Considering how much work I put into the monthly, the remaining 93% of the experience shouldn’t be flushed down the drain. If the remaining experience can’t be awarded to me, at least fix such a disheartening bug for future players.
When hitting a level where a specialization can be picked, it seems that no matter how many extra exp you have earned, you wont be receiving it.
This has most likely got something to do with the fact just picking a specialization puts you up a level.
It’s your fault not realizing you could just play a spartan ops instead. If you had played an ops mission, the problem would’ve been solved. It’s all about using ones brain
