I like the microsoft direction turning its games to be 60fps, Forza 6 and Halo 5 are the best examples, we know the hardware capabilities so set the best graphics possible to rock solid 60fps, forza 6 can handle 24 cars or players like halo 5 does although it hasn’t killer ps4 graphics I appreciate it’s not looking beat ps4, but by this way it does like wii u does with its aaa games. I’m very interested in see if rise of tomb raider will be 60fps, please I want see more games like this I don’t want games locked at 30fps neither cinematic experience anymore
60fps is nice, but not when it means stripping out major game features such as split screen.

Agreed. And 30 fps is still great, as long as it’s locked. I played the Gears Of War Ultimate campaign the other, thinking it was 60fps. It was actually 30 fps. Still played, felt, and looked great.

THIS. Frames don’t matter to me, I rather have split screen, and forge from the get-go (Launch day) among other things than have some dev team sweat about getting 60fps…
There’s no denying that 60 fps is obviously better than 30 fps, but the cost isn’t worth it. We’ve gone just fine the past 15 years with 30 fps.
