Spent about six hours working on a Halo 4 forge map today. Saved multiple times switching in between forge and custom games in order to test. Saved again to head back to custom games, the save is gone. Disappeared completely. Ive reset the game and Xbox but nothing. Beyond pissed. What a waste.

Look in recent files in the “file browser.” I think that if you play the map in custom games, it will be stored there temporarily.

not gonna lie i’d be pretty upset too. Im curious as to whether or not it has something to do with the other save files that have been disappearing along with the missing achievements

this sounds like something to check into
Load up the original map (If you created a map on nebula, start up nebula), then end the game so that you’re back on your menu. Check your maps now, they should have all returned.

I can’t play any Single Player or Matchmaking in Halo MCC.
A large amount of the game, including MM, is working quite well for me, actually. Things are being fixed, and will soon be to optimal levels. Negativity is not needed.
By 2017 this game will be working it’s 100% unplayable for me.

This. The functioning of the game is varying deeply. Some people have it working fine. Others, have it unplayable.
Is it really 343I’s fault if SOME people are having trouble? How do you go about diagnosing a problem only SOME people have? Seems pretty hard. I give 343I credit for what they are trying to do.

I keep crashing in the menu screens for one full week non stop and have still not played anything in this disc at all because it wont allow me to and 343 is trying… there a video game company that sold me a empty disc do you know that I’m unable playing anything of this game like at all and it’s not just some people look at these forums really read them well the amount of bugs Halo MCC has is not normal.Yes it is 343 fault it’s not another game company that made this title.

You clearly don’t understand. HOW do you go about fixing problems only some people are experiencing? My game functions fine(aside from MM, which still works more than some people’s), and you, well, your game literally won’t work.
Say you were in charge of bug-testing, say, an oven. You have 50 of them, and 4 of them don’t work for some reason. How do you go about fixing something, that is not a regular occurrence?
Besides, 343I has done something here, no other game company has tried before. Are 5 games worth of bugs NOT to be expected? Every game has it’s own bugs at release. Take 5 games at release, combine them, and you get a ton of bugs. (Either a ton of small bugs, or a few large bugs, both equal to 5 games worth)
Also, it seems quite selfish to blame 343I for your own copy of the game not working, when it is clearly working for some people.

Simple publish the game once it’s 100% working for the entire world and again read these forums really well plus 343 will be doing endless updates for months to come on a weekly basis wonder why… and it’s more like 40/50 people not working and it’s 4 games not 5. who should I blame? even when I change the copy of the game same problems not working I own 2 copies of the game because I love the Halo series and none of them work and it’s the only Xbox game that does not work for me and everyone else that your the lucky 10% then great go play Halo Master Bug Collection I’m gonna wait for the much needed updates.
