Wow, I mean I personally went about 4 hours without a single BR game (not that I needed one) but yeah that sucks. The challenge system in this game is horrendous.

I finally got manglers on my 16th game. Challenge system stinks, I would argue it would be okay if we could progress all challenges at the same time. But having “get 7 mangler kills” sit in my active challenges taking up a spot for 15 games before I finally have a chance to do it feels bad.

Its honestly just depressing at this point, like i dont mind swat but i dont wanna play for hours in just one game mode.

Yep, game mode specific challenges NEED to be removed if you can’t select said game mode

lol that happened to me. I kept getting BR or Sidekick and I eventually just used a swap and literally the next game was mangler…sigh stupid challenge system. Why can’t we just have the old XP system?

I feel ya, need the BR variant as one of my last challenges and I haven’t gotten it yet. Just manglers, which honestly might be my favorite variant of SWAT yet, and sidekicks, which I hate because I both have bad aim and I use KBM so the bloom is extra vicious.

this literally hurts me to read this i had it nearly every match and this game mode is quite possibly the worst swat experience i have ever had, bullet drop should NOT be a thing in halo

I just laugh anymore when I see these sort of posts on the forums. 343i doesn’t want to read these, and more than likely won’t. Nothing will change until enough people quit altogether. Then they will go on some media campaign about trying to fix it, and bring everyone back.

343i bring back open lobbies & open communication.

Would help if there were post match lobbies (even if they disable chat) and you could vote for the next map and game type within the current playlist. Then have it randomly choose from the voted options. So even if you’re the only one to pick the map/mode you wanted, there’s still a chance of you getting it.

For the love of God, they have already disabled chat. They literally eviscerated the very essence of communication in Halo Infinite, and it is ridiculous. Bring back lobbies, and the communication, as it says in my forum signature.

Damn that’s some bad luck. I played about 6 games the other day and 3 of them were mangler, 2 pistol, and 1 br. Gotta love weapon based challenges.

I get it non-stop. Which is why I am glad I haven’t gotten a Sidekick Tactical challenge yet.

oh if only 343 gave us the option to SELECT GAMEMODES AND FOR IT TO NOT BE RANDOM!
but 343 can’t code a menu capable of that apparently… though a game like TF2 can make search options for both maps and modes on the source engine, what a joke

What annoys me the most is I had the ‘kill 50 enemy Spartans with headshots’ and got the mangler op non stop but as soon as I finished it the gamemode seemingly vanished. 343 just let us control how we play or remove specific weapon challenges.

Specific challenges are a problem because when you want a specific game mode you never have it or after a lot of games played.
This is voluntary on the part of 343 so that we buy swaps.

Because the game deciphers what challenges you’re trying to complete and purposely puts you in matches that are the opposite of what you need in order to force you to buy challenge swaps.

I dunno im just glad when i needed 25 mangler kills in swat i was able to get it all in the one match otherwise id be stuck even longer trying to get the game mode to show up lol

Jeez someones lucky. I get that mode all the damn time and I hate it with a passion. Just give me my BRs.

I am convinced that when you have a mode specific challenge, it’s heavily pushed back in the matchmaking in the hopes that you give up and just buy challenge swaps. People failing to find the right gamemode for hours on end happens way too often to be a coincidence.
