—The hype for E3 begins now—
Halo 5: Guardians is going to be shown off at the Microsoft Press Conference on June 15th, 2015. This is when we will get a new trailer and campaign gameplay. We might also get to see the “new multiplayer modes” 343i has been hinting at.
What’s this thread for 6 months early? Currently, speculation. This thread will be the main E3 speculation, discussion, and recap thread. If you think we’re going to see anything interesting about Halo 5 and the Steven Spielberg TV series, or any other game, just post below!

We are now 9 days from E3. Looking back at some of the Halo 4 E3 reactions, I’m getting even more excited. I don’t know about you, but this is the first E3 I’ll be preparing for and watching live. How about you?
I want to see the Campaign, playing as Chief and as Locke ! Would like to see the new Prometheans forms and, of course, the synopsis of the game !
Don’t get your hopes up. From what I have played of Halo 5 so far I can safely say it is my least favourite Halo game of them all. I don’t even feel like I’m playing Halo when I play it. It feels more like a weird hybrid between other FPS’s.
Playing the beta actually helped put a lot of my doubts about multiplayer after halo 4 at bay, the only real issues that bugged me was the matchmaking system. I still feel like I’m playing halo but I can’t argue there arent more similarities to other FPS’ then before.
On on a different note I’m always excited for the continuation of the halo story especially with what looks to be the arbiter returning and blue team possibly making their debut in the games.

Who cares.everyone knows the core h5 mp gameplay, E3 is the chance to know more about the campaign, which could have even bigger gameplay.
My current hopes for possible campaign gameplay reveal:
First person mode for vehicles.
Hopefully clamber allows more vertical level design for the campaign. Would make even the non-vehicle levels feel less tunnel-ish.
Dynamic AI battles
Not-useless allies
Where is the story taking place?
Gameplay with both Chief and Locke. Or maybe that’s too much for a short and consistent presentation.
Interactions with Arbiter/Blue Team.

This us exactly what I want. I’ve never seen anyone else post about wanting 1st person vehicles.

But I think the November will be a great month!
A new game of an awesome franchise will come out. Made of people, who know how to do interesting storylines - and I have the feeling, they are all learning at the moment how to do epic things, too.
Released by a competent publisher. This game will find it’s place on the summit of great First Person Shooters with a long tradition and hardcore action battles for sure. In quantity and quality.

Hahahaha what a -Yoinking!- joke. Their first game was Halo CE anniversary which was good, but a lot of corners were cut due to the copy of reach multiplayer. Next game was Halo 4 the most ill received Halo game of all time (large sales were due to hype, not quality of game), had greatest MP drop of all Halos and probably most xbox games in general. Then comes MCC what a -Yoinking!- mess that is 3 months down the line still doesn’t work, and you can defend them all you want but I bought a game that i assumed would work, yes it was a huge project but if you can’t pull it off you DO NOT UNDERTAKE A PROJECT THAT BIG. It is not acceptable or excusable, TMCC is a disgrace. Then comes Halo 5 beta. Probably the furthest from an original Halo game, has split the community in two. I know of people who are ringing up Microsoft support lines to get the game changed. We have given up on contacting 343, go straight to the source.
343 are not a good games company. I think its more hardcore 343 fans which cannot see the inexcusable mistakes they have brought to this franchise.

I’m not going to insult you but I strongly disagree. 343 is not a good company and h4 and halo mcc are the proof. But I do think 343 have good intentions but they just aren’t the company to handle halo.

That being said, and so I don’t get banned for ‘non-constructive posts’ again…
I’m pretty excited, but where did it say that it would be Campaign, and multiplayer modes video? I’d love to see them both, and whatever this new ‘bigger than btb’ thing they are talking about.
Halo 5, Gears of War, Star Wars Battlefront, The Division, and Uncharted 4. Best. E3. Ever.
