50% win rate?

I heard theres ment to be a 50% win rate and that means that matchmaking is working I’ve played 110 games of Slayer this session got all the way to P5 now ive been pushed all the way down to P2 likely P1.

You think with 50% it would be win/lose win/win/lose at worst lose/lose/lose/win not it can go lose/lose/lose/lose/lose/lose making no sense at all.

I’ve had times where it’s been win/win/win/win/win but you get my point it’s not consistent and it’s not like I am a terrible player I have a positive K/D rate sometimes even end up in top spot mostly on the losing team tho.

What’s the point if working hard up to P5 if you then work even harder but end up going down no matter how you play?

Please buff Matchmaking skittle.

I have near a 50 percent win rate lol.

me neither

I have no idea what ur saying when you say win/win/loss/loss etc

Just doesn’t feel very 50/50 in Slayer at times no biggie Time.

If someone goes into arena without any buddies, then that person is asking to lose. I believe that if you go in to arena with buddies then It should pair you up fairly the same.

Of course you’re more likely to remember the long losing streaks than the win streaks, but that doesn’t mean the win streaks aren’t there. Your win percentage is 48% which is very near 50%. But your win percentage being 50% doesn’t mean long streaks of wins or losses won’t happen. In fact, they’re bound to happen eventually, just like if you keep flipping a coin, you’re bound to get a long streak of heads or tails. If you had the ability to remember—and analyze objectively—the full sequence of your 2,000 games, you’d realize that yes, you’ve been getting matched completely fairly.

Mine is like 50/50 I think

It’s not really a fact of memory as I check my stats daily and can see and feel it. I do remember my last long win streak as it doesn’t happy much.

When I flip a coin it tends to heads/heads/tails etc rarely can you flip a coin and get something like heads/heads/heads/heads try it you’ll see a tails will likely slip in but it can happen.

That’s what I guess I mean by 50/50 you kinds expect win/lose lose/lose/lose/win and not lose/lose/lose/lose/lose/win.

Thanks for everyone’s posts as it’s interesting to get another take on this. I don’t mind the matchmaking if am honest.

I’ve noticed that slayer feels like it’s getting less players as the wait time on focused is getting longer.

People aren’t good at distinguishing real randomness. You equate uniform sequence with a random sequence, which is not at all true. If your coin flips are truly independent, long sequences of the same side every now and then is exactly what you should expect. For example, the average amount of flips you’d need to get a streak of five of the same side is only 30. In all likelihood, based solely on the amount of games you’ve played, there exists a streak or two of nine losses in your game history (the average amount of games you’d need for that is around 1,000 provided wins and losses are equally likely).
