50% aiming in Arena, how is that possible ?

How is possible that one team always have 1 or 2 players with 50%+ aiming and its always the winning team.
Im struggling to get 35% and Im using different weapons all the time.
Is it all connection based because I have never been over 45%.
Around 35% would be fair play I think but recently I see more and more people with 40-55% aiming.
That is sick because it means every second bullet is taking a hit and should almost be impossible without high aim assist.
For me this is a huge deal breaker with this game, its so unfair.
Im pinging the servers and Im getting around 65-70 ms in ping in Europe.

It might be with the issue with what weapon you are using. Take your time to focus your reticle on the opponent. Don’t just shoot at them like crazy. Or just practice in some custom games with a friend with BR’s and Magnums. Those will help you steady your aim.

Some people are really just that good. Difference between really good people and less skilled people. Also depends on how careful u are with your shots as well. Like i know mine is really low because i fire a lot more then is necessary or people that are honestly out of reach.

If it’s an automatic weapon every bullet count towards %precision. If it’s the BR then each of the 3 bullets per burst counts. Grenades and other explosives count their blast radius. (If it doesn’t kill them in one hit then damage dealth = %precision.

EDIT: Don’t qoute me on this but I believe that anything other than a “perfect kill” also counts towards %precision. (Meaning that a 6 shot kill with a DMR = less accuracy than a perfect 5 shot kill)

How do u not hit shots in this game. Easiest halo ever. If you are really struggling on aiming here’s a tip. Play a few games on 10 sensitivity and then drop it to 2, 3 or 4. It should feel much easier to aim.

Listen to these three’s advice. This is how you should look at each game when it comes to aiming.

I wouldn’t consider myself a great player but have 50% accuracy with a DMR in Arena (11,926 shots/5,992 landed). 60% accuracy in Warzone with a DMR (38,058 shots/22,726 landed). 49% with a Magnum. You are correct usually the winning team has one or two guys hitting over 45%. The thing I try to remember is to look at the target and don’t stare at the reticle. Eventually your reticle goes where your eyes are. Sounds oversimplified but when I start chasing the reticle i struggle.

There is more to aiming then just seeing someone and shooting. To be a better aimer, you need to be able to recognise enemy strafe patterns and predict their map movement. Once you’ve mastered that, your thumb overtime will naturally create its own rhythm and you will defiantly be a better at shooting.

play more. more practice your aim will quickly improve

Or… or… maybe some people just have much better aim than you? I have around 50% accuracy almost every single game I play, and pretty much never dip under 45%. Here’s some proof of that.

I’m generally around 50% in arena and I’m not close to a pro. It’s very possible OP. Yes connection CAN be an issue for some people at times, but honesty, it just comes down to practice. Just like anything else in life, the more you do it, the better you’ll be.

As a FFA player my arena percentages are pretty good. Mostly above 40% … 52% with the lightrifle.

Your highest rank in any playlist is Platinum II OP… TBH, I don’t think the connection is the problem. Might be closer to user error…

I can get 60+ % aiming.

You could, but you probably don’t

I have an accuracy percentage of 61% with the Magnum (over 4,000 kills) and 57% with the BR in arena. Your connection could have something to do with it, I have no idea. Mine’s nothing special but I am in the US, so I have that going for me. If it makes you feel any better: being a good shot in this game helps, but it isn’t nearly as important as power-weapon/power-up control, positioning and patience.

I think connection may actually have a huge impact. When I started using focused search I hit diamond for the first time. I’m normally a gold level player. Lag destroys the abilities of even the best players.

Last I checked my overall accuracy average was about 55% and that’s with preferring the ar.

If you’re the type of guy to use an SMG, accuracy goes out the window.
Miss a magnum shot, that’s 5/6 shots landed.
Miss some SMG shots, that things sprays all over the place, with like half of the shots landed.

There accuracy could also be higher because you are making yourself an easy target. Aka, not really trying to dodge their shots.
