An objective game mode like invasion since it could lead to cool looking battles over territory that’s very customizable in forge
Actual troop transports like a functioning transport warthog, something like the falcon or a apc type vehicle like the mastodon
Customizable load-outs for custom games which helped diversify custom games especially for forged maps
A.I. in forge that you can make the pathfinding for like Doom 2016 did with snap map but more expanded
Expanded forge compared to H5 with better looking prefabs like pre made banished walls, unsc walls, destroyed vehicles, etc.
Bonus: More customization to forge such as disabling boundaries, and object limit
Don’t want
Bullet sponge enemies in campaign especially with what happened with H5’s hunters and “boss” fights
Monetization of maps especially forged ones
eSports focused multiplayer which kinda hurt H5 in the casual area

Maritime vehicles. Bungie tried to implement them in earlier games but couldn’t do so due to certain limitations. Maps with bodies of water that justify them being there, they could be for btb only.
Halo Reach’s XP Progression system.
A Beefy campaign length.
A good anti cheat system since we’re gonna be against some pesky PC players in multiplayer.

Don’t Want:
Required/Forced stealth missions in the Campaign.
No Friendly Fire, friendly fire is a core part of Halo. Would be sad to see that go. I don’t think it’ll leave anytime soon though.
A lack of gametypes at launch.

Halo worked fine without them and without being F2P. - Don’t want Campaign and Multilayer be two games, i mean, you install Halo Infinite and that’s it, if you want play MP, go to main menu, select MP, enjoy. Not closing campaign game, open MP, waiting it for load, play. U wanna play campaign? close MP, open Campaig game, wait it to load, play. -> Repeat steps.that’s it.
more biomes - better wild life - meaningful side quests - firefight raids - exploration out of zeta halo - world bosses - 32 vs 32 big team battle with pve elements - Arbiter, Rtas, jun, kilo-five in campaign dlc.
Classic ODST/Reach style Firefight and custom Firefight - Battlefield Halo - think Battlefield with the Halo Sandbox, Warzone was close, but time to go big! - A great campaign that doesn’t ignore ANY of the previous games and builds to a fitting end to the stories of Chief and Cortana, setting the stage for ten years of extending narrative story with our own characters and the supporting cast built up with all the novels etc - To fly a Pelican - To have the option to stick that Pelican down my enemies throats Don’t Wants:
Silly armour that looks out of place / happy to have a toggle to switch it to generic armour in multiplayer on other players, if that’s even feasible - Egregious monetisation - To fall down the live service / customer mining, abusive systems of games like Destiny - To lose anything from the Flight. That was pretty close to perfect for me! - To be unable to revisit key campaign missions out of sequence / as I fancy
All of that said, I also don’t want to dictate to anyone, or suggest that how other players play, or what they want is wrong. So this is just for me
A full suite of game modes; including new iterations of fan favourites. Dominion, Invasion, Warzone(?). - Comprehensive list of armours based on fan favourites from Reach and 3 respectively. (Recon, Mark V, Mark VB, Pilot, Scout, Commando, Security, JFO, Military Police, ect.) - An amazing campaign. And H5’s narrative to be concluded in the first hours of Infinite. - The co-op campaign partners to be our multiplayer Spartans. - To get an anthology series of short linear campaigns for various characters. (Thorne, Locke, Jerome, Arbiter, Rtas, ect)Honourable mention: Ability to disable player vxf.

Prometheans. I loathe fighting em. - Atriox to come in at the end and die. - Too many fractures and silly armours. - Too many pro-user equipment; (Grapple/Dropwall/Threat marker ect are enough). - Promethean weapons creating oversaturation in the sand box.Honourable Mention: Jetpacks. F them.

Invasion is already basically off the table. At least, the Reach style invasion is. Map Veto’ing just leads to the same maps over and over. Zero variety matchmaking isnt that fun imo.

True about invasion and hopefully it will make a return even From some forge made aspects. Any ideas for enhancing Matchmaking or an improved way of the Veto system that wont lead to zero variety?
