5 Tips For Healthy Gaming

1: Drink healthy!
Don’t consume energy or fizzy drinks!
These drinks are full of sugars and artificial sweeteners and are overly high in caffeine. They are known to cause weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure as well as other health problems. Drink water, and if that caffeine boost is needed have coffee or tea.
2: Snack smart!
An apple for example, is full of antioxidants and phytonutrients. So have some fruit and nuts for a healthy alternative to junk foods such as chips or candy which are linked to heart disease and diabetes.
3: Exercise!
Make the time to exercise in the day as it is a key to overall physical and mental health. While your game is in intermission use that time to do 20 push-ups to increase your heart rate and blood flow.
4: Be happy!
Being happy protects your immune system and increases your lifespan. So if you become furious playing Halo 5 simply don’t play. Anger or stress can destroy your immune system and decrease your lifespan.
5: Keep balanced!
Take the time to go outside and/or enjoy your life outside gaming.

in all seriousness you can just do what I do and only drink water when I play Xbox and dont have snacks. (if I eat, I pause and get a meal).

I don’t snack and play either but some probably do.

Go to your designated UNSC shower room, wash up, get that grunt to clean your boots, drink that pure water that you got out of a UNSC vending machine, and stay away from instant meals that contains high sodium.
But in all seriousness, don’t always snack on junk food. Drink healthy, eat healthy, take care of your body, then healthily play Halo :smiley:

It is also wise to take a washroom break every now and then.

every kill? Imagine multiplayer and trying to complete that before you are shot or the flood levels with infection forms.

but maybe its better for your health and mental health to keep exercise and playing separate.

This goes against everything the grind to the top demands of me though…

Just kidding, these are huge, if you can be consistent with these things even outside of gaming you’ll see huge increases in not just your gaming skill but how you handle life overall.

That is the first step but it will not stop anything. Throwing the console out of the window is of course the only working solution.

The Moa burgers are by far the best ad will improve your performance by a bit.
