Dude… no. The BR comes out on top 95% of the time still. It doesn’t stand a chance at long range but still, the BR is one of the most used weapons again and is fine as is.
Really? I’m not an awesome player at all but i’m better with BR than DMR.
Buff the LR and Carbine instead, those are like toy guns against the BR and DMR

Carbine is useless, Light Rifle NEEDS to be scoped to do any dmg and the flinch in this game makes it impossible to scope someone down, also AR is for bads that cant aim. go away.

the carbine needs a bit of help. The AR is amazingly useful already. I normally never used the AR in any of the halo games. I would use melee over AR any day. In halo 4, the AR is actually useful now. its impressive.

If its useless against DMR users i guess NONE of my vast amount of kills with the BR were never against a DMR user? Lord the hyperbull on the forums is scary.
I really hope 343 just ignores the Forum complaints.
and doesnt make future patches based on Forum feed back. Dice did something like that for battlefield and over patched and ruined their game, listening to 12 year old “know-nothings”. calling everything over powered because they were getting spanked by every weapon.
If anything needs to be fixed it will probably be seen in the game data and not from whiny children on a forum, which there seems to be a lot of.

They read but hardly post. Waypoint is pretty much a flame war on who can sound the maddest. Sometimes you will get legit complaints. But most people just come to vent when they can’t accept that they played bad and got beat by a better player. Gaming communities have been getting worse over the years sadly.
its reminding me of people betching and moaning about the BR in Halo 2 and 3.

Completely agreed. Both weapons have their places. People get beat by better players then run to the forums and scream about weapon nerfs/buffs. GET BETTER. THE WEAPONS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM.
