Hey Guys,
I experienced a rather interesting game today,
It was in Squad DLC and for some reason the game decided to set up a 4v6 game.
Anyone else ever experienced anything like this?
And does anyone know what actually caused this?

Woah, that’s wierd. I’ve never seen anything like that. Must have been due to lag.
Yes, quite interesting. Before I clicked the link, I merely thought that some of your teammates had dashboarded in the lobby, so it looked like a 4v6. But it would’ve showed them in the game details.
Tough call, I have no idea why that happened. Nor has it ever happened to me. Usually when it looks like the teams are unbalanced, it’s just because some of the players have quit out before the game even starts. I’m not sure if something similar happened here.

Actually, this has happened to me a few times before, but usually it was only 1 person, not two. I think this happens when the match has found enough players for the game, but for some reason a player or in your case two lag or quit before the match is actually set up. So it ends up looking this this before the game starts:

Which then suddenly turns into this before the match is set up and the voting lobby begins (two less players):

Basically it will set up the game as a 6v4 because somehow the match is made without replacing the two who quit.

Too bad the matchmaking algorithm isn’t smart enough to just make it 5v5.

I just found it a bit weird since they never actually appeared in the scoreboard, and for a second I thought the playlist was messed up,

Yep no problem! The reason they don’t appear post-game is because technically, they were never in the game to begin with!
We played a BTB that set us up 8v6. We thought someone had quit too but nope, just unevenly matched us. Kinda sucked. 
I think it might be because of the population of squad DLC. it may have been just using the minimum number of people to play
We’re are now entering the twilight zone. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but also of mind!
Anyway, as strange as is it’s possible. For a 4v6 off the bat to happen. It’s frustrating but it does happen 
Unless you want to quit your best option is to simply do your best, hopefully win, but in the midst of it all…Have Fun!

Thankfully the guys on the other team was being a good sport about it, and no insults were thrown around.
But if it were ever to happen again I probably wouldn’t have as such a nice experience,

just a unlucky situation I ahd a similar game we was on 5 and the other team on 4 on dlc ,I don’t know maybe quiters in a milisecond before it starts or game splitting?
It happened to me once in Action Sack in Halo 3, decided to set up a 4 v 2 instead of the usual 4 v 4, no DNFs, I still don’t know what caused it.
