I’m playing CE today and even after all of these patches I’m still occasionally put in a game that STARTS 4v2. I would think by now 343 would get their -Yoink- together and stop crap like this from happening.
Then i’m in a party of 3 and the game decides to start up 2v2 and put my buddies on the other team. 343 I don’t know how much common sense you guys have over there but if people are in a party, THEY WANT TO STAY TOGETHER. Simply keep the search going until there are enough people for 3v3. Duh.
What little faith I still had in you guys has been slowly obliterated after each patch that continues to fail to fix OBVIOUS problems.
I’m so sad that my favorite franchise is in the hands of these people who either don’t care or are incapable of fixing the game.
Yeah dude I can’t play with friends either and keep getting uneven teams. Pretty SAD

Yes, the 4v2 part sucks. Unfortunately this is still happening in all the playlists. This is something that i assume will be fixed in the next patch. (which they said parties and more matchmaking fixes will be in this next update)
As for the parties of 3 splitting up and playing 2v2. The base code of the CE playlist is for games to start once there are a minimum of 4 players. Because of the fact that the playlist is meant to be a 2v2, and probably will be officially changed to that in the near future, this is kind of irrelevant. Once you can only have a max party of 2 playing, it wont come up anymore. Just as of right now, it is looking for the fastest game. So if a party of 3 and a single go into a game, it will split that party up to make a game faster. Yes it sucks, cuz i play with 3 all the time. But the underlying code of the playlist is meant to just be 2v2.
So once the gametype gets moved to an official 2v2, you wont see that happening anymore.
