didnt 343 state that there were going to be 4 grenade types? But i only see 3 types, plasma, frag and pulse. Why wasnt there a fourth?
That was an early build, there is no 4th just 3, maybe because they though it wasn’t a good idea having many types of granades.
If there is 4 they might have just not shown us yet it wouldnt be the only thing we havnt seen yet, the second vehicle, gravity hammer, whatever they were talking about when the said our elite itch will be scratched.

The rumour of 4 grenades spawned from people misinterpreting the HUD in an early image.
The grenade section of the HUD looked like this in the image:

The three ooo’s representing the types of grenades, with the large O representing the selected grenade.
The misinterpretation was that some people thought the O grenade was separate from the three ooo’s But it’s not. the O grenade was just an enlargened image of one of the smaller ooo’s. So there were always only 3, the HUD was just mildly confusing.

Last I checked the flood arent Elites, untill the flood takes an Elite.
And the Flood are Spartans in Flood Mode.

A while ago Franie said it but this close to launch without seeing anything, makes me doubtfull unless its in Spartan Ops.

Pretty sure they were talking about the Invasion itch and that would be scratched with Dominion mode.

As others have said, Frankie made it clear, there is three kinds of grenades.
It isn’t that bad honestly, three grenade types is enough without complicating which kinds you have…

I’m wondering why we only have 2 of each grenades in the campaign.
The E3 build gave me hope that grenades would be more versatile… now I’m just sad. If it’s to make the game harder, having more than 2 grenades in CE and Halo 2 was more useful for tricking, as enemies already dropped an ample amount of grenades (some Elites could drop 5 grenades)/there was a large supply of them in some areas (i.e. Cairo Station hangars).

Throw it and a load of infection forms devour your body.
(If flood mode they become zombie, if not RUN LIKE HELL!)
