Can we please have an option for 4K resolution in Halo 5? It would be awesome! I saw this topic being brought up for Halo: MCC but not for Halo 5… Post below your thoughts!
No, it makes no sense, most people have 1080p TVs and the Xbox One couldn’t handle a 4K res game
well i know the xbone can output 4k but does it have the power to do it when its struggling call of duty aw granted its not exclusive so they can’t optimize to the full but i don’t think xbone is powerful enough.
y 4k?
4K Resolutions? On the Xbox One?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH! OH DEAR GOD! HAHAHA!
Ohh…
This made my night!
There is no way the Xbox One will EVER be running games at 4K! No current console will ever be doing 4K!
Hell, Even PC gamers are a minority when it comes to 4K!
Yep indeed, I don’t see the point of 4K right now, event 60fps looks useless to me I don’t see any difference with 30fps

Yeah, it’s sort of the bleeding edge at the moment.
Lol I’m not even sure if my tv can run 1080p (its kinda old)
8K or bust.

You must be blind to not notice the difference between 30 and 60fps.
60fps is so much superior when it comes to fast paced action games and FPS’s

superior? not for me. i destroyed everyone on the 360 (bf4) on the one the game feels so fat and slow paced
I’ve never even seen a damn 4K TV. I sure don’t want to have to buy one next year. We’re just getting Halo at 1080p 60fps now, at the end of 2014. Let’s enjoy that for awhile before we all get 4K 90fps gadgets, please?

60 fps on a game like Halo makes a lot of difference. Go check a video of halo at 60fps on youtube. Make sure you have 720p60fps or 1080p60fps option enabled.
For what I’ve been reading on the internet, its a huge difference for better for people like me playing halo since CE.
What is with this emphasis on resolution. Rendering at 4K is four times more demanding on the GPU than at 1080P and the fact that barely anyone owns a 4K TV makes it redundant. There will be a bigger visual difference if you put the GPU resources towards better textures, lighting, particles etc. rather than a higher resolution.
Nope, sorry. We’ll probably have to settle for upscaled 900p.
Believe in the power of the cloud!

indeed but to have that power you need top notch internet which is hard to come by in a lot of countries so give it some years until internet really becomes fast , then cloud will be an alternative for now its not.
4K? Seriously?
Not possible on Xbox one. The Xbox one couldn’t even run Halo 3 at 4k if they wanted it to.
Xbox One can’t output 4K regardless of weather the hardware could push it (which it sure as hell can’t) due to it having a HDMI 1.4 port, rather than a HDMI 2.0 port which can support 4K.
