I think you can actually swap the Weekly challenges too. But I’m sure it will burn through like 6 of them so you would have to buy more
You can’t use swaps on the weekly ultimate. Unless they updated it in one of the hot fixes, but I doubt it

it’s with this challenge i decide to not be the instrument of those stupid challenge.
you know when do all the challenge every week even if you don’t care about the stupid sticker on your backdrop.
my rule now is simple.
is this thing worth my time and effort and do i LIKE it?
no. then just play if you want and what you want.
don’t get cut busting your -Yoink!- for a supposedly “”""“reward”""" you will be the grand loser.

If I see a backdrop for the weekly award, I just can’t be bothered. A piece of armour maybe, but other than that, I’ll just play my usual games and not stress about the absurdity of the challenge requirements.

Yep. Been doing this since release. 1st, see if I like it. 2nd, see what my challenges are and if I might need to use a swap. 3rd, if I use one, then I WILL complete it. Then there was tenrai which I try to max out. But I only need 3 tiers so next I might not bother.

Because it was such a bad weekly reward I didn’t pick up Infinite at all and played Halo MCC all week instead. I had a great time!

I never got round to playing MCC the first time round. On one hand, I’d like to play the early Halo games I missed out on… yet, there are so many other “new” titles on Game Pass I really should check out first

Yikes…you have missed out big time.
Not only did Halo MCC get fixed years and years ago, but it is quite possibly the great collection of games of all-time only rivaled by the Valve Orange Box back in 2007.
Not only is every Halo game 4K 120fps now, but the multiplayer suite is absolutely fantastic.
Since it went to PC it is practically all that I play now. 7,000 achievements to work on which I’ve been chipping away at since 2015. I’m up to 4340/7000 now. Hope to hit 7,000 by the end of the decade! LOL.
Seriously though get a friend and co-op those games together. There is nothing more fun.

I’ve only played (the original) Halo 3, ODST, Reach, 5, and now Infinite. I know I’ve missed out on a lot the Halo… kind of why I’ve avoided downloading MCC 
. It’d suck up so many hours for sure
The capstone challenges make me furious on top of all the other crap you’ve got to go through for a stupid back drop or skin.
I got it done in three!
(…because I backed out of 47 games and ranked down to plat2 because I don’t care because ranked is being reset 
)

Yup, sounds about right. I feel your pain having subjected myself to the torture of completing this challenge also! I completed it a couple of days ago after serving a 24 hour ban due to quitting to many games.
So by hitting me with the ban hammer if I quit to much, 343 effectively forced me to play through a whole bunch of other game modes that I didn’t need in the faint hope that at some point I would get some CTF matches. I didn’t count how many games it took, but I did play nothing but ranked for nearly an entire day and found a grand total of FOUR CTF matches… Four. Of which I was only able to win two. Pain!
The devs seriously need to start splitting the playlists to make stuff like this less likely to happen. Not just for ranked, but for quick play as well! I hate challenges were half the battle is trying to actually find the game mode you need, then the other half being lucky enough to have competent and skilled players on your team who can help you win.
I don’t care if the prize I got was crap, considering the amount of bull I had to go through to get it, I’m keeping that thing equipped for the foreseeable future! Born in struggle indeed!

I feel you man, challenges that forces you to win multiple matchs of specific game types when you can’t choose them and need some luck to play one and win it.
They should simply replace them with win objective games instead of what we have right now or simply do a selection menu like MCC where we can select the gametype we want to play.

I honestly wouldn’t have minded if it was just “win x CTF games.” Then we’d at least have a chance to get challenge progress in quick play and BTB too.
Having a “win” challenge specify a game type and playlist is just lame without the ability to play specific game types
