Normally don’t get annoyed on here but I find it wrong why we have a 40GB update for a few skins and a couple new items. I get other stuff is behind the scenes but what’s happened to the Halo 4 armour from the DLC? Honestly put me off as the DLC armour was what got me excited as that was the set that made the armour better overall.
There are also the Forge items.
That’s true but feels like a bone headed move to not include the armour and feels sloppy especially with the halo 3 skins as they should’ve been in the last season not this one, it just looks like either they are holding content back or just rushing everything out or both

This isn’t the last ‘update/flight’ release. I believe further flights will be coming next year with possible 360 dlc armours being added in later.
I think at the moment their main focus is just to get MCC on PC as complete as it can for now so that cross-play can happen earlier to help with long term population since MCC has been struggling for a while.
As for content I kind of get why they would not rush out armour/skins since they want to try keep long term population since gamers tend to want constant unlocks then we get the complaints about no more new like in Halo 5 plus it means more players come back to MCC eventually.

Well they added Halo 4 Terminals and Spartan Ops cutscenes to be in the game instead of streaming through Halo Channel.And that explains 40GB update.

The game isn’t 40gb bigger. It’s a little bit bigger, but most of that 40gb was replacing content.
Yeah, it only added about 11 GB.

Also a bone headed move not to add playable elites to the game when it’d be easy to do 
Im going to go on a limb and say part of that is better compression? Mcc was like 107gb last night when i played it. It dowbloaded the 40gb but ts only like 120something gb now. Which is clearly not 40 higher than it was.
I think CoD MW 2019 did something the same. It was at like 170gb for me, had a 25gb update and it dropped to around 90gb on my series x

Great to hear Halo Channel is being replaced properly. I did not know about this either, likely because I was so excited about being able to change my H4 visor color lol.

Great point. This point should always be made clear since most players are not fully aware of what updates do.
