the weapons update came out today. the new BR is cool and all but there is one problem. it is too easy to use. i just played halo 3 again and i got my buttcheeks molested because i couldn’t shoot well. the halo 3 BR is soo much harder to use, it felt great to kill someone with it. i just feel like the halo 4 primarys are too easy too use. if 343 tones down the aim assit and bullet magnetism for the primary weaponds it will make halo 4 so much better. 343 a,so needs to bring descoping back, i m so tired of getting killed by snipers that have stability. im shooting the sniper and i get shot im my face its so annoying. dont get me wrong 343 is headed in the right direction but they have along way to go.
sorry for grammer i wrote this in my xbox internet browser, it takes too long to type with this controller.
So… you’re one of those guys who likes the same game over and over again? Right?
Halo 4 won’t be good until it’s Halo 3?

Logic?
You and just about everyone else started playing again today…
How can you say the BR is easy to use, but then say you couldn’t aim well with it…
WAT?
I think what you’re experiencing is the difference between hitscan and leading your shots.
The Halo 2 and 4 BR are hitscan and arguably easier to use due to their consistency. If the reticule is red, it will register. In simple terms.
The Halo 3 BR, which I also loved, is preferable on LAN but the lag and latency of XBL made it less accurate. Sure it was more skilled to lead your shots and all but many bullets would get lost in the connection and therefore using the Halo 4 hitscan BR style feels like it’s too easy for you.
At least that’s my two cents on it all. This once again feels like the Halo 2 BR. Which IMO is a vast improvement over the previous Halo 4 BR

It’s almost like the Halo 2 BR. It just doesn’t stomp other weapons the way the Halo 2 variant did.

Descoping = good
Less aim assist & magnetism = good
It doesn’t matter that those features were in Halo 3, they were good features that rewarded better players. Those features not being in Halo 4 just shows that Halo 3 did some things better. We don’t need to make the game worse just to keep it different each time.

The Halo 4 BR may become that stomping god weapon again if 343 decided to patch in the double shot and BXR glitches lol.

It’s only bad because you don’t like it. Keep your mind open and be happy that 343’s listening and changing things. But don’t get butthurt because it’s not a carbon copy of Halo 3.
I love the 4 shot BR because people can’t just sprint away nearly as much, which is what I use to do.
i forgot to put the 3, but iment halo 3 br is harder to use

my first halo was reach back in feb 2012. i was not there for the halo 3 good days, but when i played it in apil 2012 i fell in love. i can see why people loved it so much and are mad at reach and halo 4. i even hated reach(because of armorlock and camo) even though it was my first halo experience.

Balance =/= then entire game being Halo 3.
Let’s be serious now.
OT: Aim assist isn’t the problem. Halo CE (arguably the most balanced Halo if we take grenades and rockets out of the picture) had more Aim assist than Halo 4, but it also had a higher movement speed.
You move slower in Halo 4 so that sprint is useful. With the aim assist combined into that, it’s not a pretty picture. If we increase the base movement speed, it should help negate that.
There is a ton of magnetism in Halo 4 though, that definitely needs to be addressed.

They’d better not. Halo 2 multiplayer was great until people started abusing the god-awful glitches.
in halo 3 u had to shoot ahead of ur target in this game you just shoot at your target thats why it seems easier
> There is a ton of magnetism in Halo 4 though, that definitely needs to be addressed.
The only problem I see with magnetism is for Sniper Rifles.

Explain to me how it is good.
I play Halo because I hated CoD and pretty much everything about it. The Killstreaks, killcams, easy ranking, custom loadouts, perks, easy to use weapons, and the overall lack of a need to get better to win. Now, Halo 4 has adopted all of these features to some degree. Halo used to be a unique game, it stood out from it’s competition and offered a variety of fun and wacky game options along with competitive gameplay that rewarded the best players.
It now doesn’t have that, how is that good?
I never asked for a carbon copy of Halo 3, nor did I ever imply it. Lastly, please change your tone because I can testify that saying butthurt will get you banned.

I didn’t say it was good, I said it won’t be good to people like you, until it devolves into a previous installation. If you don’t like how Halo 4 is, there are plenty of games behind it to go back to. As far as I know, the game types in the current playlist. (Regicide, Flood, Oddball) those are still “wacky” in my opinion. No matter what traits it has reminiscent of Call of Duty, it’s still very different and very unique. Finally, and most important, if you don’t like what’s here, play something else.
