4 player firefight?

Is there going to be anymore options when firefight is actually released?

I played the beta and it was fairly fun but I only usually play with two friends and when you have a team of 8 players you aren’t getting as many kills and it isn’t as much fun as you don’t feel that the effort you personally are putting in matters as much.

So I am asking (despite us only being a team of 3) of having the standard 4 player option that firefight used to have. I am only suggesting this as an extra option the 8 player version can still happen this would just be an option.

Firefight on halo: reach had LOADS of options and was IMHO a better version because of that of this mode but this could also be fun but would honestly prefer less players.

I know this is time limit based rather than lives so my suggestion is simply this, double the allowed time limit for 4 players or at least test that see if it works and if not adjust the time limit till it does.

It could basically be the same mode they are developing but with a different time limit and just 4 players. We used to play reach firefight with 4 players (Us + one random player) and we enjoyed that a lot more.

I didn’t get the chance to play warzone firefight, but i do wish it was four players. When you make it eight I myself feel challenged to do better than others, but i don’t like playing competitively. I hope they make a version with just four people.

It was fairly fun, nothing great IMHO and for me not as good as halo: reach’s firefight because of the way 343 decided to go about it…eg I prefer a limited lives pool to a time limit and 4 players rather than 8 for reason stated above.

However all that said I did have some fun with it. The REQ system was certainly interesting allowing you to use some better weapons and that was the first time I have used it as I am not a VS player.

I will say though if the finished version released is 8 player only then my interest is going to be a lot less as I simple don’t have that many friends who play halo.

Anyone else want a 4 player firefight for reasons I have stated above?
