I think the cylinder still is there, it’s just obscured by the arms in the preview.
Glad to see that the armors look almost exactly the same as the original Reach incarnations.

The only thing I’m a tad bit annoyed about is the fact that Noble, Decimator, and those four Armor are almost idendical besides the Helmet.

What do you mean? the armor?
Well reach’s armor system was just Mark V with little differences attached onto them. Jorge had the most different armor but that’s because he had a Mark IV prototype with shields

The back of the Decimator Armor is really the only bad thing about it. It’s close enough to the real thing; besides, Noble 6 can have whatever Armor you so choose.

I mean they had to implement the thruster jets somehow, the Gen 1 variants of those armors needed armor mods or (abilities) to have those.
I wonder how the rest of the teams armor will fair from the back

I just think having 6 Armor pieces that are mostly idenical is slightly redundant in terms of Customization. I would prefer the addition of some more defining features, such as Jun’s bush-thing or Kat’s Robot arm (which probably won’t happen). The Grenadier, EVA C, and Decimator are mostly distinctive, but the AA and Scout could easily be mistaken for Noble.
After Ghosts of meridian How many updates are left?
I like how they are modified versions of the main Noble armor set. If you look at their backs, they have the same boosters that the Noble Armor has.
