I have confirmation from the devs that a plane crashed on their servers. The new leaders code has been lost and they have to rewrite it. So they will be available in a couple of months. Stay calm.

While I’d love the new leaders, I’m more concerned with being able to play Forge and Johnson. I’m definitely up for patch notes, especially because it’d help us come up with new strats in the meantime.
I’ve had an issue with the game feeling stale since launch and I’m not sure what the actual reason is =(
It’s been shared that the DLC/patch is in certification right now and is on track to be released this week.
