You rushed to finish 100 levels of a Battle Pass that you knew from the start was going to last almost six months? Complaining that you’re not being “rewarded” after that is a personal problem.
Wrong.
I’ve played enough matches each week to earn the ultimate reward and then stopped until the next weekly reset
Hardly ‘rushing’
I think you’ll find there’ll be quite a few players reaching tier 100 over the next few weeks
good. time to uninstall and lower their player count so they panic fix everything.
What have you ever gained for your time in online MP? Unlocking intangible items or a meaningless rank is still literally achieving nothing outside of a possible dopamine rush. At some point the core of what you were doing was quite simply “I want to play Halo”, why has this suddenly disappeared? Why has Halo MP suddenly lost value because you’re not getting intangible things for playing?
I finished the Battle Pass a month ago, because I despised the challenges and wanted to get them out of the way as fast as possible. Luckily I had a lot of Rockstar and Pringles 2XP. Now I play just to play, and I can focus on enjoying the game and getting better at it, and practicing interesting movement mechanics and strategies.
Meanwhile, anytime I play with friends, they’re always complaining about challenges on mic, so it’s also kind of amusing seeing other people only around level 30, knowing they are going to be suffering through doing the challenges for like 4 more months, and I don’t have to anymore.
Sure, I would love an MCC rank where every time you go up a level, you get a token, that you could spend in a token shop to buy Cosmetics that you like, or skip some of the Battle Pass. Unfortunately, that will probably not ever happen.
It goes a lot deeper when it comes to the game pushing players away than the lack of incentive.
The game is majorly lacking in, content, customization, Playlist, game modes, and literally, a long list of things that I can’t even name them all because it’s an absurd amount of things missing from Infinite.
Then there are things like riping the game apart to sell to the player base like 90% of the gear that 343 literally lied to the player base face saying they are offing the player base hundreds of options when it comes to customizations (paid and non paid) or things like Assassinations that are most likely why they are not in the game right now. There is way too much missing from Infinite and now I’m starting to see why they cut the content that they did. It’s so they can pull a Bungie, the Bungie today, and give you this half-backed DLC calling it an “expansion” or selling cheap lazy work called seasons.
343 needs to pull their head out of the sand and start backing up their own words and promised they made because right now they have shown they are nothing but fake people running this company. When I see 343 start doing right by the player base, then and only then will I have a second thought about them. This is the respect they are giving the player base, then why not show them the same respect?
