We’ve only seen three. Frag, Plasma, and Pulse grenades. That’s leaving one grenade left to be revealed. Could it be part of the ancient evil’s arsenal? What do you think it could be? Could it be a returning type from Halo 3? What would you want?
It could be the Spike Grenade, Incendiaries, a new type of Covenant grenade, or something different all together.

Well we have the Human, Elite and Promethean grenades. Spike would fit, but I don’t think it will be the spike grenade. Possibly a land mine type of grenade?

I would actually think a flash grenade would be pretty cool. I swear I saw a video somewhere of a grenade drop labeled “flashbang grenade” on Haven, but I can’t find the video for the life of me, so I’m just gonna speculate.

Well it would fill the same purpose as the Pulse Grenade, because they’re both intended for area denial and damage over time.

I would love it if the spike grenade returned. Never was a fan of the incendiary to be honest.
A whole new grenade type might be fun though!
hoping for the return of the legendary Firebomb. It was easy to use, impossible to master.

I don’t remember 343 ever mentioning 4 grenades. I remember only 3.

I can’t for the life of me remember where it was said but when I Google Halo 4 and four grenades there are all these forums that mention how it was confirmed there was going to be 4 and what they thought it was going to be. I’ll try my best to find where it was said.

I don’t think the Spike Grenade needs to be in the game. It doesn’t really have enough differences from the Plasma grenade. Perhaps a purely effect grenade, maybe based off the Flare, so kind of like a flashbang?

Pulse nade = power drainers
Flash nade = flare equipment
We already have the jammer in camo.
I’d be fine with either of the 2 I suggested. I bet it’s going to distort vision somehow.

OT: I would have to go with Flash Grenade or Firebomb Grenade because I think that since the Pulse Grenade is fitting the role of the Power Drain equipment from Halo 3, a Flash Grenade should be made to replace the Flare equipment (like the post above me said), and the Firebomb because, well, I just love setting things on fire with that grenade.
