now what i would like to happen is that all the people that bought halo and downloaded the game and had the same problems should get some kind of compensation maybe gold membership, yet again i don’t know any compensation would truly show that they were actually sorry for these problems.

First off nubcakes its a daunting feat to port 4 games over to a system which has dissimilar architecture to the original systems those games were on, also it isn’t just a shine job either updating graphics and textures takes time too. Secondly they are working hard. I had better luck launch night but I still have managed to get a few games in. So it is improving. Just wait it will be epic when we can all play.
I don’t understand how they screw something up that Bungie was able to accomplish for a decade. It’s just sad, and honestly, makes me look at 343 differently now.

Dude, if it’s such a big deal then they should have let a company who could do it, do it. I completely understand the OPs frustration. I’m sick of these multibillion dollar companies who have buildings full of people releasing -Yoink- like this. You know how important a successful launch is to the community? It’s huge. This is almost as bad as the GTA launch.

Its probably not 343’s fault. I bet you anything that they had to succumb to the pressure MicroSHAFT was putting on them to just release the game despite its working conditions. But by using the excuse that the game isn’t working, they are now given a longer time period to actually work on finishing the game that was incomplete from the get go. I don’t shame 343 for this at all, i more or less point my thumb towards Microsoft for pressuring such a massive release to be done according to their unrealistic deadlines for such a large project.

In Australia, it is currently 12.27pm on Friday, so it is less than 12 hours away from having been released for 4 days.
