4/24 player on my team, your matchmaking is awful.

It’s 2015 and no -Yoinking!- game has any consistently balanced matchmaking. 2/17 then 4/24 on my team in arena. That should NEVER happen. It’s to the point where you can’t even think about playing arena or competitive in just about any game without a full roster otherwise you will get -Yoinked!- over by an army of -Yoink- devs matchmaking systems. -Yoink- you devs, get your -Yoink- working correctly.

I understand you’re upset but please calm down. This honestly sounds like it has something to do with your NAT type being strict, and the game matching you with other strict connections. You should check on your router.

Don’t worry. The Ranking system gets reset every month and as the population grows. The ranking system will fill out. Just relax and take a breath of fresh air. Maybe go to the mountains or beach and enjoy some time to be yourself and relax

Are you limited? It has absolutely nothing to do with that what-so-ever. Get off the forums you misinforming -Yoink-.

I am not going to relax when i consistently get one -Yoinking!- guy that ruins the whole arena experience. FOUR IN TWENTY FOUR. It just hurts the brain to think about how -Yoink- matchmaking systems really are these days, you rarely if ever had these problems in older games. Maybe take your own advice and go to the mountains so i don’t have to see this garbage in my inbox.

I’ll agree to the matchmaking been incredibly off.

I play in a party of 4 mostly, so I can understand I’ll get short sticked a lot, but in what world is it fair that a bunch of Diamonds get ranked with Onyx players or Champs players?

In a game where winning is key to ranking up, you’d think they’d try to make a more balanced matchmaking system.

I get the population may be low, but if it’s that low, then this is just laughable more than anything.

Well I team up with friends and clan mates. Check out the Spartan Companys page on thus site. See if you can find like minded clan of players you can join and form yourself a team. It would really be the best thing for you to do instead of lone wolfing it and popping a blood vessel

The tools are out there. It’s how you use them that will make you succeed

Btw: I did. I joined the Army and had a blast blowing stuff up in Iraq. Very relaxing. You should try it

I have had 5 matches in a row where the rest of my team will be fine except for one guy that feeds 15+ kills while getting 4 or less, and i am not even trying to say i am a god cuz i am -Yoink- but i AT LEAST want a -Yoinking!- decent team for the love of god. I am going to go mental, -Yoink- you 343. I want to be able to just jump into a -Yoinking!- arena match without having to worry about (if i actually want to have a chance to win) networking an army of decent halo players into my friends list.

But see this is exactly the problem, you shouldn’t have to do this. It is a band-aid fix to what is a broken tool - the matchmaking. Like i said before, no one should have to network an army of decent players to have a consistently decent team to play a pop-off match of arena. You are just covering the problem.

“The tools are out there. It’s how you use them that will make you succeed”. Corny as -Yoink-, don’t make me laugh man.

Team Arena.
Team Slayer
Breakout
Swat

All these are Team matchmaking. That is what Diamond and above is. Teams.

If you want to fly solo. Then stick to Free - for - all. It’s how Halo had always been. Even all the way back from Halo 2. The top players always rolled out in full teams

I don’t see what your point is as that isn’t at all what is under dispute or what was discussed. Also, a match made team is still a team, obviously… There is no reason a correctly evaluated and matchmade group of diamond players shouldn’t be able to compete to at least a decent degree with a premade diamond team. (Provided they have mics) The premade may have an advantage being as they probably know and have played with each other, but that’s about it. Of course the higher you go the more one would desire to have a close-knit premade team and not a matchmade one, but again this isn’t really what is being talked about here. Even in halo 2 at the higher ranks (42+) you could easily hop in and the majority of time expect to be able to compete with an enemy team to a decent degree.

The issue is why anyone should ever get a player that is 4/24 on their team, or to put it more simply for you, why anyone should ever be incorrectly matched to such a consistent and high degree.
