I have recently returned from a five month hiatus from Halo 5 and the Xbox in general, and I was absolutely amazed at the variety of game modes, UI improvements, and quantity of new guns and maps. However, one thing still bugs me about Halo 5, and it is the travesty that is unbalanced teams. In my two days since I have returned to Halo, I have played in about eight games where the number of players are skewed, and each and every time the three or even two player team loses, often by a large margin. Being on a team with less players is extremely frustrating, and it honestly makes me want to just put down my controller, especially considering the result will count toward ranking, K/D, and Win/Loss ratio. I understand that there could be issues if unbalanced games were not counted towards CSR, such as quitting when defeat is inevitable, but quitting still results in a ban, and I think the pros of making this change outweigh the cons.

Also, this is something that has been discussed at length but NOTHING has been done about except for some minor join in progress improvements
It -Yoinking!- -Yoink- me to tears when people Quit in Arena. Report them every time. I’d love for it not to count towards rank because every second game people bloody quit.
Either the timer should change or the score to reach should change when it becomes unfair.

you can reach onyx solo searching just keep playing. Heck ive seen onyx players i get matched with that have 1,000 + deaths. You might stay at a low onyx but its still very possible.

The highest I ever got on my own was daimond. Now because more people are generally partnered up its tough to even stay in plat solo.
Actaully there might be an other reason I keep getting messages that my mic is making a lot of noise but I’m not using a mic so maybe I’m getting muted all the time so I can’t hear the communication.

There are already precautions to stop that, the quitting ban works pretty well IMO

I was once in a 1v4 game and, after being slaughtered for a bit, I sent some of them a message asking for a ceasefire.
It worked.

After waiting around for awhile (2 mins left on the clock), one of them asked me to quit.
Not wanting to annoy him, I quit.
He did say thanks though.
I played two games today where the other team was reduced to one person; we need some more recognition for this problem.

If that was the case. Then why is less than 4v4 a decent issue?

do you have a kinetic , you know that -Yoink- on top of the tv connected to the xbox , its broadcasting 
instead of not counting the it shud have modifiers to how the the gain / loss to rank is , if you win being only 3 players you get rewarded more / loose less toward the rank , same as the rank of the opponents shud be taken in to account when loosing/ wining , like when you meet a team where there is 3 onix and a silver to get in to lower ranks , wining against them shud give you more points then if you faced a equal team. there is many issues in halo 5 and its ranking system.

I don’t have a Kinect. I think it’s my earphones that are doing it. Just having them plugged in might be causing some issues.

haha i can hardly get out of gold solo, when i have good games, i meet better teams, the rest is just teammates quitting or simply playing bad or diamonds/onyx with a 4’th silver or gold smurf.
