Hello, Pikachu Pot Pie here and this thread is too see how many people want a 3v3 playllist with slayer and objective variants. I usually play reach with 2 of my friends and we like to work together as a team and have fun.
Long have I awaited the day that they brought back fun playlist like team tactical from halo 3. Playlists that aren’t so repetitive. Or at LEAST something to accommodate for those of us who maybe dont have as many people playing halo reach and want to run as a tight team of 3. I know 343 is busy as -yoink- trying to make halo 4 the best it can be but…

There’s no need for a 3v3 playlist. If anything, we need to cut down on the playlists, especially when Halo 4 is released.
343i needs to start combining and discarding playlists because when Halo 4 is released, I doubt Halo Reach will EVER reach 10,000 players again.

Whats the problem with a lot of playlists? All it gives us is options

3v3 = population - 143.
4v4 = population - 58.
5v5 = population - 21.
I think you get the message, matches will be unreachable and people won’t be able to get playing anything.
If you want 3v3 then why don’t you just play multi team? 4 teams of 3 each battle slayer and objective gametypes.

Where did you just pull those bogus numbers from? If your referring to after halo 4 launch, then yes. matches will most likeley be difficult to obtain. But go try and play some halo 3 that isnt social slayer.

What have we got? Team Doubles - that’s 2v2. We have Team Slayer 4v4, team objective 5v5, invasion 6v6, btb 8v8. Let’s say 343 catered to everyones requests for a playlist regarding this, that, and whatever; the most people per day I see on reach is around 30000. Put in all these playlists and what are we going to have 500 people in each playlist? Just so everyone can be happy? Playing the same people gets dull especially if they’re all -Yoink- holes. You asked for a 3v3 and multi team is the best you’re going to get. We don’t need more playlists and believe me as we get closer to halo 4 we are going to lose playlists. When halo 4 comes out there won’t be enough of a population base to hold all the playlists we have right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the competitive, coop, and community playlists were scrapped.
Multi team is your best bet at getting 3v3. Maybe you’re not interested in 3v3v3v3, but let me tell you: playing with small teams on large maps (action sack on hemmorage) is NOT FUN. And that’s 4v4; if you want 3v3 you might want to try out custom games.
30000? idk what population you are looking at but I see around 90000…
