Agreed. 343i did more than a great job with the pistole.

For the sake of classic days, oh glory! Why do people prefer the -Yoink- screaming and rage gameplay, to classic funner Halo? Such odd people!

I am stoked about ALL the title updates. They were all things i thought needed fixed. The thing i wish they would have added to the invis update would be to make it so you can move and actually be completely invis like in all the other halo games.

I think it’s interesting that they just changed the magnum that’s already in Halo: Reach. I wonder if you can edit other specific weapons as well.

I really can’t wait to see how the pistol performs online. This is the most excited I have been about Halo since I played my first match online in Halo 2 and realized the future had arrived.

The 3SK God pistol is back, now with less shots! That’s all the thing needed anyways.

Funny, the more balanced Halo became, the less enjoyable it was. Oh the kill times suffered after Halo 2 apparently but i didn’t think Halo 3 was THAT slow (unlike loldefaultReach).

Am I the onlyone thingking dowsides of this? Yes, the 3 shot kill was awesome in Halo CE, but in halo Reach where it’s just ridiculously easy to land a headshot because of the levels of aim assist and bullet magnetism, so I would at least prefer it to be four shot kill. Judging by the few kills we got to see, the pistol was just: point, press trigger three times. The level of aim assist quarantees that your reticle stays on the opponent for the time needed to squeeze out those three shots, bullet magnetism quarantees that as long as even a small part of your reticle is on the opponent, your shots will hit.

I wouldn’t like to jump into conclusions from about ten seconds of gameplay footage, but the pistol being three shot kill and requiring little to no skill to aim is whole different than it being three shot kill and requiring huge amount of skill to aim properly. I’m really not that happy to see this kind of change, we have remember that Reach behaves way differently than CE.

The 3sk pistol is the only change I really dont like about the TU.

I dislike when people try to belittle the skill in aiming by saying “it’s just point and shoot.” The Reach magnum actually has noticeably less aim assist than the DMR. I consistently pull of 5sk’s with the DMR, but not so much with the magnum. Lord knows Reach desperately needed an increase in game pace, and a 3sk magnum will bring that about. Also, it has less range than the CE magnum. And who knows, maybe 343 will lower the levels of auto aim/aim assist.
