3rd times a charm, halo 6 may be the best yet.

halo 4 was meh (not the best halo game but still better then most games in the market at the time), halo 5 was great, and halo 6 will be amazing

I’d just keep in mind that so many people hated Halo 2, mostly because they were forced to play as Arbiter for half of the game. But now, people look back on it and say “Oh look Halo 2, oh that game makes me so nostalgic. What a great game that was.” Maybe, in a matter of years, people could say the same thing about Halo 5.

> - TO BE COMPLETE

I’m sorry, but I kinda have to call you out on what you’ve said here.
You’ve basically just said that you want it to be less of a download, but complete. That’s like saying you packed a box full of stuff, but you are going to make the box lighter without removing any of the stuff inside.

You do realize that there is a lot of data because there is A LOT of stuff in the game, right? Do you also realize that they themselves cannot just change the download size without messing with aspects of the game? A video game cannot be super detailed, designed, high quality, contain lots of content, and be complete as you mentioned without sacrificing the game’s download size by getting bigger. For example, look at some other games such as AC Syndicate (just an example). It isn’t as big of a download as H5, but it doesn’t have any multiplayer aspects whatsoever. The multiplayer and the mechanics for H5 are quite complex and are very expansive (basically, there is a ton of stuff in this game). You need to know that it takes a lot to include what is included in Halo.

I’m trying to tell you that you can’t have both the complete game and a small download. Everything digital, whether it be music, games, etc. has a data size, and you can’t just magically change that without altering it. This is the problem in that the community doesn’t seem to understand this concept.

I know I’m close to alone in feeling that halo 4s campaign was amazing! And 5 well see it as a build up to Halo 6 which I bet will be phenomenal… I’ve read all the halo books and played all the games and yet I feel alone in loving the campaign to halo 4 and 5. Sure halo 5 could have been better but this build up will.make 6 all the sweeter

I am just excited to see what they do

They can’t do worse, right?

i’m looking forward to halo wars 2 more as it’s being made by a company that doesn’t constantly disappoint me.

I sure hope so. Last leg of the franchise for me

It better be good because halo 5 is dying down fast.

Halo 5 was my least; but as a dedicated Halo fan, I’m still hooked and did enjoy playing the game. I’m looking forward to Halo 6, and hoping it isn’t as disappointing as H5 was. I was pretty pumped for the story in H5, and was pretty let down. But, that’s bound to happen, not every one can be a grand slam. I agree with what you’ve said, and I’m excited to see what comes next…starting with Halo Wars 2.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought Ensemble Studios made Halo Wars.

If Halo 6 will be the last of the reclaimer trilogy, you think for the next games they will go back in time to Halo Wars events and the rebel problems ?

That’s what I did after twenty-some-odd days marked for Halo 5 on my Xbox profileWhat. It’s fun when you get to see other things.

Whenever I boot the game up I am immediately reminded of why I put it down within a match or two. It’s a mediocre game if you ask me, with the only decent part plagued by issues the devs refuse to fix or just outright ignore to pump out more reqs.

> It wasn’t an argument for Halo 5 or 343i, just saying that a lot of people play just Halo here apparently and don’t stop until they’re disappointed. People really should play different games every once in a while, or you’ll probably face Halo (or whatever other game it is) fatigue. Go outside even, see the sun. Real life has great graphics I hear.

never got halo fatigue with 1,2,3 or reach, played it religiously over 10,000 games each, i struggle to get past 10 in a month with halo 5.

no, being forced to play arbiter didn’t drop the gameplay quality of the campaign, in h5 the gameplay and story were both trash, with h2 there are still people playing it 12 years on.

also it helps to have qualities in a game that make you really enjoy it, other than forge what is it? People overblow H2 hate, some hardcore CE people hated it, the game still had huge online numbers over 3 years while this game is fighting for a lifeline ~7 months in.

Halo 6? All i want is nostalgic cheif and cortana one liners, i get that small chill down my spine replaying a game or playing a new halo and hear epic lines like ‘to give the covenant back there bomb’ or ‘wake me up, when you need me’ or my faveroute ‘dont make a girl a promise, if you know you cant keep it’ i mean, theese lines are just amazing and we need more nostalgic ones, ones that the community likes, dont know if thats just me, but…

Well, they did, but bungie was there.

I enjoy Halo 5 and only see things getting better

My main hope for H6 is the return of co-op screen. I think the hardware should be up to snuff to pull it off by 2017. 343i could have done it for H5 but it was a cost point issue w/ the console.

Halo 5 was the third try lol. And if you don’t think MCC counts, Microsoft should have made a separate company or something… It’s not like they don’t have the money, they did it for Halo Wars.

I’m trying to have low expectations so if it’s good, really good even i’m not disappointed that the hype couldn’t keep up.

In my humble opinion, having taken in all consideration for all view points, theories, and possible reasons for the flaws within Halo 5 campaign, have come to the conclusion that it is a transition story. I truly believe that the market campaign advertising was a little deceptive, but I believe those are future events that we as players will experience. I, as a truly dedicated Halo fan, find my self being patient, for a good story should never be rushed. Because you want to have a game last, a story to fester, a histiry to be historic. If 343 had to make a massive and somewhat sacrificial decision to ensure the longevity of Halo, then it’s best that they did. Could they have done a better job, yes. But they’re only human and they are still experimenting. With that being uttered, I believe that Halo 6 will be their best product, and the cliche’ “third time’s a charm” will indeed come into play. I think Halo 6 will be the most eventful Halo and we will see events like no other unfold. The gameplay is there for, I feel like I’m playing a Halo in H5’s campaign; though, I didn’t feel like I was playing a ‘Halo Capmaign.’
