I disagree with you only on the UNSC Aircraft, There is no fathomable reason that any halo past 1 should not of had a UNSC air vehicle. they had two options besides maybe introducing a third and to completely neglect that aspect story wise, military wise, and multiplayer wise is absolutely frustrating.

Do you people even read? Or do you just drop your opinions out of context whenever you can?
AUS Jester wrote “wat” because KugelBliitz said “Halo 4 [had an] amazing campaign, average campaign.” Simple as that, he forgot to write “multiplayer” instead of that second instance for “campaign.”
And then you come along and say something about people not having played the classics…? Halo is one of those series that have a very slow rate of newcomers, almost all Halo players have gone through the original trilogy. Compare it to The Witcher fans, for example, that started with The Witcher 2 or 3.
And the main reason Halo succeeded was the lack of competition back then, do not think that Bungie’s story-telling abilities are nowhere near being considered good. 343Industries’ campaigns are indeed an improvement over Bungie’s messy and lacking storytelling; even if the quality of the stories themselves can be discussed.

Why are you so against halo having UNSC aerial vehicles? They were awesome in 3 and reach, sacred they could get destroyed? Vehicles blow up believe it or not. Also a plus is people would start to praise 343 for the work they put in. I sure would.

> I think its the community and not 343 that’s hurting not Halo’s quality, but prominence in the gaming world. We’ve aged and played so many other games that our tastes have changed. We want different things to be added and taken away from Halo. Its everyone’s preference that injures Halo. I think, for my personal wants for the franchise, it will do well.
Although the gaming market is saturated with games, Halo competed with the top shooters at the time of its golden age and was victorious, until Halo started conforming to other top-selling series by adding things such as Sprint and ADS that plenty of other games have. Halo has always had a special style to it, and Bungie mainly kept to a strict formula when making their Halos, and never changed much (with the exception of Reach). Halo 5 feels like a combination of Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Halo. The main reason the community is in such dissaray, I think, is primarily due to the fact that 343 has changed the original Halo formula so dramatically that veteran players don’t feel at home with Halo 5.
I hope that halo 6 brings back the old tradition of split screen co-op. That has always been a key fact to halo for me and a experience to hangout with my close friends when we were young and couldn’t do anything else but play halo all together.

Halo 5 could have been good, but they screwed up too much. Games are supposed to make you happy, but this game does the opposite. I have never in my life scram at a game out of anger, but I do over Halo 5 most times I play.

Lol no. I know tons of people who said they were never going to buy halo five. They bought halo five. People are going to buy halo six, whether you think so or not.

343 is full of a bunch of self-centered -Yoinks!- who don’t give one -Yoink- about the REAL community. They only care about wannabe map-makers know as forgers and the no-life -Yoinks!- who play the HCS. It doesn’t matter what kind of game they make, just as long as it gets them money and suits their needs. I love Halo, I really do, if you were to ask me to go over all of the lore I would tell you to sit down and take out your notebook because we’re gonna be here awhile. I continuously find myself going back to the old Halos on the MCC, because like I -Yoink-, I went and sold my 360 copies of the games so I could uprade to the MCC itself. But I usually don’t want to sit there for 30 -Yoinking!- mins to just find a damn game, so instead I go like R6 Siege or something. Because I’m such a huge fan, I’ve made it my mission to own all the Halo games, including Halo 6, which if you look at it, won’t even be recognizable Halo. I mean, they just threw all the classic stuff into a ditch and forgot it, and then on top of that replaced it with a bunch of new -Yoink-. Let’s take Doom for example. Let’s look at 1993 version and 2016 version. The mechanics are almost EXACTLY the same, there’s no sprint or any of that -Yoink-. Now let’s look at Halo CE and Halo 5. Halo CE has no sprint, no armor abilities, none of that. Now Halo 5, sprint, ground pound, thrusters, the -Yoink- is this -Yoink-? Say goodbye to Halo guys, 343 has screwed us.
As a fan of Halo, I would say that Halo 5 could have been better and that some things should be changed. However, the game is still enjoyable, and thrilling. When I played it I was like “what the heck just happened?” at the end of the game. I only hope that Halo 6 is going to be better.

> Well halo 5 arena got rid of the “COD-lite” multiplayer that many people disliked (halo 4’s main mistake), and 343 also learned from the MCC launch disaster(MCC’s main mistake) and gave halo 5 great matchmaking and consistently fast multiplayer connection. I think we can agree that Halo 5’s main mistake was its campaign, and 343 is likely to learn from that and give Halo 6 a great campaign AND great multiplayer.
See here’s the problem. Halo 5’s Mp isn’t that great. The mechanics and concept are there sure, but the spawns are still -Yoink-, the matchmaking is -Yoink- (silver and gold V Onyx lol, party teams against randos farming or otherwise pubstomping).
I also find ground pound and shoulder charge to be completely unnecessary, but then again I still don’t see the point of sprint especially with Doom and Overwatch proving that you don’t need it, the latter more specifically.
Halo 5 wants to be super competitive and it is in all the wrong ways. It really is no longer accessible and the matchmaking doesn’t allow new players to get a feel for the game or encourage casual play since there is still no true ranked/social system.

At this point it is likely to see whether or not the campaign ends up in any satisfying matter. I won’t lie I will probably get Halo 6 at some point, but I will buy it used or when heavily discounted. I am not excited for it. Hell the only reason I got 5 is because my friend got it so we would play together.

> Halo 4 and 5 are fine, stop your complaining
And this is why most games have gone down hill in recent years. People have gone from critiquing to accepting and being apathetic.
You call Halo 4’s MP fine for a Halo game? You call Halo 5’s campaign fine for a Halo game?
If anyone is complaining it is you because you don’t have an issue with the game so it must be perfect and anyone who criticizes is complaining while you add nothing to the discussion. Solid work /sarcasm
Split Screen. Get rid of the AI’s you have to baby sit. Stop with the endless “promethian kill runs”, un-do Cortanna sounding and acting stupid, locke sux, envole various parts of the unsc, such as ODST and all of the spartan classes that work together on missions, introduce a “new guy again”, but don’t kill him, bring back UNSC vehicles and ships that help in Campaign, bring back silly marines that do crazy stuff on warthogs. (Halo 3)
Halo 6 will be awesome, 343 have given a lot to fans that have been asked for and demanded, 343 know what we want and know what they’re doing, I have complete faith in them with halo 6
In my opinion, I kinda like the campaign, but we were given the wrong idea in the trailers. I would’ve preferred that story. There was so much hype about the story and now it turns out that Locke and Chief end up working together? Idk. I don’t like the false hype.
Think of it as Halo 5: Guardians was the Test Beta Game for Halo 6. The beta of the beta if you will.
Halo 6 is the result of Halo 5s feedback. I’m positive that it’ll be the best game to release yet!
