It most likely wont ever happen but it would be kinda cool if you could have the option to go into a third person view mode when controlling your guy so you get to have a full awesome look at your guy running around beastin’ it up on the field. kinda like gears of war or something like when you are holding onto a turret(not slowed down like when holding onto a turret of course)
Kinda defeats the purpose of Halo being an FPS
Maybe in Halo 5 they could add Third Person view as a custom option which you can turn on/off in custom games.

Nah, when COD did it (not trying to start anything just using it as a reference) it was really weird and didn’t fit. Halo is and always has been an FPS. Going into third person should only be for detached turrets.
I respectfully disagree OP, it would literally kill the point of it being a FPS.
I liked it in CE when you were riding shotgun in the Warthog and stayed in first person, hate 3rd - infact a buff to the hog all round and forced 1st person would be awesome.
