Theres already a price drop? What the hell Its been like a month and a half I could have paid 40
It’s Christmas, every game drops their prices roundabout this time.
There are so many deals and half-price games out there right now that a game that is full price appears as worse deal, when you can get 2 games for the same price. That’s how consumers tend to look at it. So retailers drop the prices.
OMG it went on sale. OH NO!
It’s 49.99 at walmart.
Then again, everything is like two to three times as much at walmart (don’t tell my boss I said that ploz).
MS doesn’t control holiday pricing. Stores can charge whatever they want and most games will be on sale to move product for the holidays. You can also think of it as a loss leader as people will come in for the discounted game and may pick up others as well since they are there. I know I do it sometimes.

Well theres gonna be plenty of christmas noobs to wreck lol
Halo 4 dropped $20
Black Ops 2 didn’t drop a dime.
When i go to Wal-mart there is always a full cabinet of Halo 4, while COD BO2 is always sold out. They’re lowering the prices of the games they can’t sell, at least that’s how it appears to me.
BLOPS is the same price
It’s very common to see big titles discounted during the Holiday shopping season. In fact, many people use these opportunities to buy these games because they know they will be cheaper during this time.
Went to Best Buy and showed em’ my receip for 65$ and they refunded me 21$ becuse they had it for 39.99$. This is why I love best buy.
> BLOPS is the same price
Not at my wally world. d:
It’s supply and demand,
Not many people want Halo 4, so the price drops
many people want BLOPS 2, so the price stays high
> Halo 4 dropped $20
> Black Ops 2 didn’t drop a dime.

And where I live Halo 4 is sold out while there are tons of copies of BO2. Your anecdotal evidence means nothing.

Then why is Black Ops II on sale on Amazon right now as well as a few other sites? This is nothing more than a holiday sale and maybe Microsoft’s attempt to further increase the Halo user base to compete with CoD numbers. Activision is notoriously stingy with their pricing of their successful titles, especially Call of Duty and Skylanders right now.
