38 Plasma Pistol kills in 5 games

Proving the plasma pistol is a weapon you can kill with if you set your mind to it.

Game 1 = 9 kills = 2nd place = +5 K/D spread = 1.36 K/D ratio
Game 2 = 9 kills = 2nd place = 0 K/D spread = 1.0 K/D ratio
Game 3 = 8 kills = 6th place = +2 K/D spread = 1.2 K/D ratio
Game 4 = 3 kills = 5th place = -2 K/D spread = 0.71 K/D ratio (Joined in Progress late in game)
Game 5 = 9 kills = 3rd place = +3 K/D spread = 1.21 K/D ratio

I’m currently working through my Master commendation for the Plasma Pistol and need about 300 more I think.

Tip: Use the Storm Rifle to strip away people’s shields and continue firing with it for 2 or 3 more shots after their shield has popped, then quickly switch to the Plasma Pistol and they should only need a couple of shots with it to kill them.

If you switch from the Storm Rifle too soon (i.e. as soon as their shield pops) it will take several shots with the Plasma Pistol to finish them off.

Be warned, if you go for this commendation it will mess up your K/D stats (if you’re into that sort of thing!)

Good luck to anyone trying to go for it. It is possible but requires determination.

when i saw the title i thought “INCONCEIVABLE!”

yeah…im dreading that one…been working on getting all unsc weapons done first. all i have left is the railgun. wait till you have to run around like a noob with the AR for 1500 or so kills…

None of those K/Ds would do it for me, but I’m glad you largely went positive with it.
