360 Magazine Halo 4 edition released today.

Has anyone gotten Issue 101 of the 360 Magazine(Not Oxm). Seems cool seeing as the Halo 4 cover is plastered all over it.

One does not simply create double threads and asks indirect for scans.

I’m not asking for screens?

You edited your OP it was something like this:

> There are supposed to be new screens…

I would read this as “somebody post that pictures pls”

That depends where you live. The Xbox magazine with chief and The rail gun is from UK.

Anything new? The cover said new screens and interviews

Not oxm…

Ugh, saw the screens. Man I am so disappointed…

Only a little description of requiem and the first lvl. And a little talk about 7 new enemies.

Go down to my second post for a better description of what im talking about.

> Nothing new at all.

> 7 new enemies.

Wat.

Even if there are new screens, if the magazine was released today, that wouldn’t be discussing a leak. What’s with all the commotion?

Keeping Bungie’s Lucky Number 7 are they?

Sorry, I wasn’t thinking when I typed that lol.

Small summary of the article in the spoiler tag.

“An enemy with seven (the magic Halo number) distinct units that will present players with a unique challenge depending on their number and make-up. It’s a continuation of Halo’s sandbox style and multi-tiered enemy troops that for so long have been characterized by the Covenant.”

The magazine says this game will blow Black ops 2 out of the water in basically everything. But that of course is the opinion of the writer.

It gives a small description of what Requiem looks like when you first step on it. And it sounds amazing.
“One look at its ancient metallic structures, towering over the landscape and organically melding with the natural greenery, is enough to elicit emotions familiar to any Halo fan.”
“As we look out over the Master Chief’s new surrounding, beams of light can be seen breaking though the clouds lending the scene biblical gravitas.”

A little info on the feel of the first level.
“Halo 4’s first level mirrors that of Combat Evolved and for 343, this not only acts as poetic way to reassure players that Bungie’s absence will never be felt, but prove that Halo’s ‘30 seconds of fun’ remains untouched. It’s the same trick used by James Cameron with Avatar, when he introduced his audience to a recognizable and familiar world, filled with human characters before pulling the rug from underneath them. And that exactly what 343 is planning; where Halo 4’s true innovation and shocking revelations exist is on the Forerunner Shield World of Requiem.”

no new concept art

I am actually really excited for the campaign after hearing this, it seems like the single-player might overshadow the multiplayer for the first time in a long time.

Also gotta love how every H4 article so far has got to feed the flames of the Halo vs CoD fan-boy rivalry!

Thank you math.

Thank you!

When I read ‘distinct’, the raging flames of my hatred towards Reach died down for a second.

When I read ‘unique’, the hatred was overwhelmed by a surge of hope.

When I read ‘depending on their numbers and make-up’, the sight of a dozen wall-clinging Ranged Forms came not to my mind but a great shining light from WA and the vivid replays of facing CE’s enemy variety.

When I read the last sentence, I welcome the return of powerful weapons that have potential effects on the AI.

It’s about time 360 Magazine provided some real info instead of mere speculation. I was worried that all the magazines were out to hype up Halo 4. I don’t mind the lack of new screens. It is info I wanted.

At long last.
