God I miss Bungie’s community activity, don’t you?
The game has so many issues and the forum is bursting with cries for help and reassurances and yet this new Halo dev watches from afar, in complete silence. Seemingly clueless about how to deal with what’s happening on their message board.
And they wonder why concerns and complaints turn to rage.
I don’t know about anyone else, but my admiration and respect for 343 is nose-diving. They’re just like Crytek - be silent and hope the problem goes away.
Sending bs angel out with a beleaguered weekly update which completely skims around the real issues is not going to cut the mustard!

I would like them to acknowledge all the complaining. If they don’t think the game is broken, then they should post something saying that, and maybe even give their reasons and intentions. Being silent about it can be frustrating for people.
They barely answer. i don’t even trust them anymore. I still play the game but if they mention something within the game, ill just let it go and not care.
TBH and i have to agree with the OP, i am regret saying 343i is better. At the release of Halo 4, complaints rained like hell. i really miss Bungie right about now.
Well when you put your point across with a mature and grown up thread title I cant imagine why they wouldnt want to acknowledge you
So far I have had zero issues with this game, if you are referring to all the nerf requests being made about weaponry, well…the game is only ten days old in the big wide world, I say its fair to allow them the chance to go through all the data collected and feedback and see what they come up with before attacking them for ignoring us fans

Probably the only thing I miss from Bungie after Reach. At least they spoke about things. The silence does not work for your fans, that’s why BioWare started actively participating on it’s forums. I think 343 should follow the example.
Silence is rediculously annoying these weekly updates are stupid just like there rotation of 4-5 maps in infinity slayer and dont get me started on what i think needs to be done

A fine example of a moron. This happens every Halo game. The newest Halo gets flamed by a bunch of babies. Everyone on here flaming is a minority. They are the very small percentage of the Halo community, and very loud ones, that are just following the trends of crying about the new game. The point is the game is not broken just because the forums are filled with people who have their -Yoink!- in a twist. People who really like the game don’t go to the forums, they play it. Alot. They are the ones 343 are listening to, as they aren’t looking at small little problems and saying the whole game is broken. Go ahead and keep crying kid. Learn to be a little bit smarter too, it will help you in life.
The game has only been out a week. 343 shouldn’t have to respond to every single thing there is. Be patient, I’m sure they are seeing complaints. If it goes on for longer than a month, then we can be worried.
Rest assured youre not alone in believing the game is broken. Or at the very least, not as good as Reach gameplay, sound, ragdolls, and features. The only good thing in H4 over the other halo’s is the maps.

That’s because you’re an apologist. Whatever anyone’s stance is on the game; there are no excuses for ignoring your community. If you think it’s fine then I’m afraid I think you’re as arrogant as they appear to be.
The “we haven’t the bandwidth” excuse is bollocks. This game made Microsoft a fortune - GET the bandwidth and cease the ignorance with your disgruntled fans.

I have a feeling 343i is embarrassed on answering to players about the game issues. At this point, 343i was very unprepared, with the join in progress, team set-up…can give many examples but i think they should be learning from their mistakes and im not here to make fun of them, but im giving them a basic overview on the issue so they can understand our problem.

Things like the DMR and JIP are opinion, so I can understand why you wouldn’t include those.
That being said, hardware glitches, glitches with grenade throwing (The fact that host can’t use it makes it in fact a glitch and not intentional), and reloading, then at least 3 maps so far with wall glitches, make the game IN FACT broken and needing of at least some repair.

You serious? You think Reach’s gameplay and sounds are better? Not sure if troll or delusional. I played the heck outta reach, but Reach’s AA’s and horrid maps really hurt the game and Halo 4 improved those both. Especially the sounds, they all are amazing. Also, the game is nowhere near broken. Just because your mad about tiny little things that most of the people like/don’t have a problem with, does not make the game broken. Stop being stupid. I wonder about people sometimes…
