If you dont care about campaign, this doesnt concern you
As most of you know, Halo 4 hasnt had much information about the campaign realesed yet. Everything has been Multiplayer. I’ve been wondering to myself about why 343 has only told us about the first level of Campaign, they havnt said anything about the new enemy, or old Halo Characters.
I think i have come up with an answer, 343 has a theme to the Reclaimer Trilogy, and it is Mystery. They dont want us to know anything important about Campaign, making us [hopefully] want the game more so that we can find out what the mystery is. I think it is a good method, i know it has me more interested in the game then if we knew more about it. Sure its fun to try and put 2 and 2 together to figure out who the new enemy is or what happens, but from what we know, i dont think we can 100% garuntee anything.
I know most of you are hoping for a campaign reveal at E3, but honestly, i think it would be smarter and a better idea for 343 the reveal more about multiplayer. Explain more game modes, explain armor more, reveal more maps, go in depth with Spartan Ops, reveal if Elites are only left out of competitive or not. things like that.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, feel free to leave a comment about what you think below.
The less I know about Campaign before launch the better, I’m cool with a little info to wet my appetite though.
It’s an effective method. I hope they keep a good amount of secrecy around the campaign, too.
The lack of campaign info will give you a better experience at launch.

i think the amount we know now is perfect

This.
Expect some more info at E3 but i hope they keep all the good surprises close to chest and have it all revealed at launch.
Campaign is supposed to be a mystery, Multiplayer isn’t.
> Campaign is supposed to be a mystery, Multiplayer isn’t.
thats not how Bungie looked at it.
They might just play the first 10 minutes of one of the levels if anything.

as long as its a level were the first ten minutes is only Covenant, then that will be fine. Im hoping at E3 they show Spartan Ops gameplay…

They don’t want to spoil anything man, they know that campaign is the most important part and that is why they haven’t spilled the beans yet. The less you know about a game’s campaign when going in to the game the magical and fullfilling it is. The less we know about the new enemy the more enthralling it is going to be to fight it.
As other people have said, the first time campaign experience will be much better the less you know about it. Especially when you have a new enemy you know absolutely nothing about. They are free to show me the first level, but I really don’t want them to give any more infomration concerning the campaign, especially our new enemy.
