343's lack of hearing (for the "sake of change")

343 industries. I hoped the latest letter on youtube from Ready Up Live has been an eye opener for your continual ignorance in avoiding or twisting the words of the community’s feedback on halo 5. I would also like to add, that may you invest a dedicated server to the Oceanic region as well. I am in Australia and have always been loyal to halo since the first game. But, it is just your 343 halo series have been an issue for lag and blank shots in the gameplay of halo 5 and has caused discomfort to playing the game. I really hope you can fix this issue by doing the above. I know you can make halo great again. Don’t give up! You just need more of an open ear to carefully consider both the competitive and casual community of halo. Most of us have played this game almost our whole lives, so don’t doubt our input and fearing that it may tarnish your vision of what halo is meant to be. You should be more out going as well. Share the community what your vision of halo is and we can provide feedback. Don’t ever twist things again though. It just only makes people mistrust you and never trust you again. The community is just angry at your recent decisions, so make wise ones, and cautiously consider the community’s thoughts on the state of the current and future halo games from 343. Looking forward to what you bring on the table for the future halo games. Continue being cool and roll with the community’s opinions and players. See you on the flip side.

Thank you for listening, sincerely from PrimalPancake92.

:)))))))

343 listens, but they dont necessarily listen too you.

343 listens. I don’t like when some seem to think they speak for the whole community. 343, nor will any developer, ever please the masses on decisions made for a game. Sure there are things about H5 I don’t like, namely general function of the game. But there has been some good changes made to H5. I for one liked the recent weapon tuning update. It is not near as drastic as some are trying to make it. They really do need to work on quality of the game though. Seems like every update brought new bugs to the game and then it takes them so long to fix the bugs.

They never do. Its their biggest mistake.

The community wanted an weapon tuninng, they got it.
They wanted more game modes, they got it.
They listen more then you think.

You mean the game modes that should’ve been in the game at launch? How about all the ones that are nowhere to be found even though they were a staple in past games. They listen a lot, but are very selective on what the act on.

I believe the reason for Halo 5’s terrible game modes at launch was to help push the competitive scene and initial HCS season. Did they lose a bunch of players, of course. Will most of those players who said “i’m leaving halo forever” come back when 6 launch, i would say yes. This is for the simple fact that this is Halo and it will have a face in gaming as long as it is still profitable. With people buying the team skins and i assume people are still purchasing REQ packs, the game is still profitable.

I’d have to disagree. Those players left because Halo 5 was and still is a buggy mess. The gameplay doesn’t feel like a Halo game, it’s too fast paced. Sure Reach and 4 had advanced movement mechanics too but it didn’t speed up the gameplay that much more than classic halo. The people who left Halo 5, left because they were tired of 343’s constant failures. Halo 6 won’t bring them back, and if 343 decides to keep a microtransaction system in place, the community will just get smaller and smaller and smaller until there’s nothing left. If 343 should learn anything from EA it’s that microtransactions and blantantyl lying to your fanbase will cost you big $$$ in the end.

343 listens but whether you believe they do not depends on what you want to happen in the game.

The reality is that no matter what any game dev does, they will never please 100% of the people. Ever.

If you’d like to leave feedback, you can do so in the relevant feedback threads. Otherwise, know that they do listen and enjoy your games.
