OP, I don’t think you get it. 343i owns Halo; they run the franchise now. Their job of what to do with Halo is whatever the **** they want it to be. They want to make the game theirs? Then that’s what they’ll do.

Okay, they just shouldn’t get angry when the trilogy flops because they felt like they could do whatever they wanted without consequences.
CAN they do whatever they want? Yes.
Should they? No.

I see no problem with them making it “theirs”. Having it being different from Bungie’s Halo games doesn’t automatically mean that it’s going to be bad. You should really wait to play the game before complaining about how it’s so terrible and all that. And hey, while you’ll be doing that, I’ll go and enjoy my Halo 4.

Not sure if you’re going to be able to read this past your ego, but here goes: 343 knows what it’s doing a hell of a lot more than you do. I realise you’ve played all the Halo games, but this doesn’t actually mean you know how to make a game any more than looking at lots of paintings makes you an artist. 343 is a team of professionals hand-picked by one of the most successful videogame companies of all time for their abilities and years of previous experience with other top titles - in short, they really, really know what they’re doing. Halo 4 will not flop. I would happily bet my life savings on the validity of that statement.

Seriously Nav your so full of yourself. You judge things in which you have no full knowledge of you jump to conclusions from term coined by people outside the development team and you totally ignore any and all statement that 343 releases to clarify with the community.
At what point has 343 come out and said were making a game that’s nothing like halo all the new feature were adding are being develop without prior games in mind. since when have they stated that there not keeping th community in mind when designing the game??? never once have they released anything remotely similar to How YOU are reacting.

I’m with you, but it’s evident that they are going to do whatever they’ve been planning. Hopefully there are multiple classic playlists (or playlists devoid of any type of perks, sprint, ect.).

Why would they directly come out and say ‘we wanted this to be OUR Halo game…’ without it having some sort of meaning? What do you think this means?
Yes, there’s nothing wrong with them making it ‘their’ Halo game in the process, but it should definitely not be a focus.
Second of all, I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. I’m not judging anything. I’m saying that 343 should know their priorities, and I’m basing this off of what I heard them say in the ViDoc. Third of all, what statement did 343 release to ‘clarify with the community’?
