I hate this new online only trend in Halo.

Same. If itaint broke, don’t fix it.

I could afford it, but I don’t have so much that I’m willing to put 60 dollars for forge, and I have better things to be spending my money on.

> Actually it’s not really 343s fault I think… count your lucky stars you can even play campaign offline. Xbox one was going to be and online console only. That meant you needed an internet connection for everything. But gamers raised he’ll and then Microsoft said ok and changed it before launch. How ever I think it was simply to late to change for some of the games and their content. You may as well get used to online only for gaming soon. Also if you can afford an Xbox one and halo 5 clearly you can get Xbox live gold. Also saying it’s $60… yeah ok so it’s only the cost of one game it’s not that expensive.
Yeah, I’ve begun to think that Microsoft is beginning to run Xbox like a dictatorship. As for paying for live, refer to the comment above.

> Mate, I’ve been saying this since these dedicated servers have been acting up. I used to be indifferent about the servers previously, but after Xbox Live has been having issues, I thought about the servers and came to the conclusion that Halo 5 has diminishing value. In 10 or 20 years, when the servers are shut off, I can’t play the multiplayer with friends on my couch. I can’t load up Forge and make an epic map. I’m stuck with the mediocre campaign. Whereas, the old games, because they are not online only, I can play those with friends for as long as my Xbox 360 doesn’t RROD.
Actually, me having issues with Live are why I ended up making this post. I had decided to use my 1 month trial, and ended up only getting 3 days out of it, which is even more disappointing because I’ve actually had a chance to start forge maps, and see them progress. It’s like the difference between wanting a child, knowing you cant have one, or heaving a child then getting it taken away from you. (That may be an extreme example, but I couldn’t think of another way to describe it.)
